Andre Boomboom is a member of the Boomboom Family, the eldest son of Benjamin Boomboom and older brother of L. A. Boomboom respectively. He is a greedy murderous racer participating in the Steel Ball Run race and minor antagonists in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run. He and his family plan to win the SBR race in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in order to maximize potential profits. He and his brother and father wield the shared Stand named Tomb of the Boom, all of which having the same ability of magnetism.
Appearance[]
Andre is a young freckled man. With unkempt hair, wearing a spotted shirt with a target printed on the chest, with a target symbolled cap with two bow ties attached; he also wears a plain vest.
Personality[]
Andre is an arrogant and prideful racer that often brags about his quirks to his younger brother. Like his family he is motivated by murderous greed as he competes in the Steel Ball Run race for prize the money as well as to claim a bounty on Gyro's head. As a Stand user he is confident in Tomb of the Boom's abilities, as he mocks Gyro's attempts to use the steel balls on him. Andre also appears to be interested in erotic asphyxiation, mentioning that he always lets girls strangle him. Later demonstrating this to Johnny and Gyro by tying his neck and to a tree branch, letting it strangle him while he cuts off the poisoned part of his skin.
History[]
Andre and his younger brother and father gained their stand abilities upon unknowingly entering a Devils palm. In 1890 they compete in the Steel Ball Run race for prize money and to collect a bounty placed on Gyro's head. During the 2nd stage Andre ambushes Gyro and Johnny during the course of the second stage in part to claim Gyro's bounty as well as to get rid of the competition.
He reveals to them he has been bit by a poisonous lizard, he approaches the two, asking for fire to clean his wounds. To fool them, Andre fakes healing himself and plays dead, luring Gyro into coming closer and touching Andre's bloodied knife with his foot.
While Gyro is turned into a human magnet, the other members of the family attack them on their horses. Andre quickly regains consciousness, but Gyro quickly disposes of him, using his Steel Balls to throw rocks at great speed and pierce Andre, leaving him with a big hole in the stomach.
Andre doesn't immediately die from his injury, but he mentions going unconscious from the blood loss presumably dying as he and L. A. were out of bounds of the medical team.

Tomb of the Boom is a stand shared between the Boomboom family. All versions are similar with slight differences between their users.
Tomb of the Boom wields the power of magnetism, as well can turn people into a magnet if any part of their body is touched by its user, including parts outside their body like drops of blood. The magnetism is stronger when the user is closer, and weaker when they are farther.
