Andrei Nolan (Russian: Андрей Нолан) is a minor antagonist in the Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 "Shadow Siege" and a secondary antagonist in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. He is a former member of the Australian Defence Forces who is now a Konni Operative along with Ivan Alexxeve ordered by Vladimir Makarov to secure to the chemical canisters when infiltrating as Shadow Company Soldiers during Operation Rogue Arsenal. He is also a playable character in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare III as part of the Season One Battle Pass.
He was voiced and motion-captured by Nikolai Nikolaeff, who also played Vladimir Ranskahov in Marvel's Daredevil and Ivan in Stranger Things.
Not much is known about Andrei Nolan's past, he recently anointed as Vladimir Makarov's right hand man, Captain Andrei Nolan executes both plans and enemies with ferocious precision in the name of igniting a long awaited war between East and West. In his youth, Nolan idolized the great men of history, those who had changed the world with a mixture of strategy, charisma and violence. He immersed himself in their battle plans, strategic maneuvers, speeches and ideas. When he was 17, He joined the Australian Defense Forces, wanting to take part in the making of history. Nolan excelled, becoming a squad leader with a reputation for brutality and consistency. He was quickly admitted into the Special Forces of Australia, where his team conducted anti terrorism and peacekeeping throughout The Pacific. Eventually, Nolan left Australia's Armed Forces for the private sector, bouncing between various PMCs for years, before he was approached by Ivan Alexxeve. Ivan saw in Nolan a man who couldn't be bought, his respect and loyalty had to be someone worthy, with strength of will and vision. That made Nolan a perfect candidate for The Inner Circle, an Ultranationalist Movement led by a tactical genius called Vladimir Makarov. Nolan saw in Makarov everything he admired about the great men of the past, the strategic brilliance, the electric charisma, and the capacity to enact change through violence. Nolan carried out orders with his trademark efficiency and viciousness and Makarov took notice, bringing Nolan into his confidence. After Makarov's incarceration, Nolan, Ivan and other Inner Circle Members joined a PMC called The Konni Group to sow the seeds for Makarov's return to power. In securing Makarov's freedom, Captain Andrei Nolan's unwavering loyalty earned him the top spot of Makarov's most trusted advisor and enforcer. He will faithfully ignite as many fires necessary until war between East and West finally explodes. However, he joined the Inner Circle under the command of Vladimir Makarov, a former Russian soldier disillusioned with his home country. After Makarov was imprisoned for the terrorist attack at the Acropolis National Arena, Nolan joined Konni, a private military company funded by the financer Milena Romanova.
Shadow Siege[]
Nolan, alongside his partner Ivan, were ordered to act as Shadow Company Soldiers, During Operation Rogue Arsenal, who were delivering the chemical agents to the Support Help for exfil. Once the two were onboard, Ivan contacted Vladimir Makarov and replied that the Chemical canisters are secure and tells Nolan that its time, However, one of The Shadow Soldiers tell Nolan and Ivan that who are they talking to, Meanwhile, Vladimir Makarov, ordered Nolan and Ivan to kill the other Shadows aboard the Pave Low. Nolan and Ivan would successfully use their sidearms to kill The Shadows and take control of the Pave Low, Nolan tells Ivan that they are clear. Nolan and Ivan later informed Commander Makarov of their success and Nolan and Ivan take off their Shadow Company patches off their uniforms revealing to be a Konni Group patches.
Modern Warfare III[]
Nolan would participate in Ivan's operation to break Makarov out of the Zordaya Prison Complex, and later executed Ivan on Makarov's orders since the escape went awry. Promoted to second-in-command, Andrei continued to serve as Makarov planned on blaming the Urzikstan Liberation Force for a terrorist plot. However, Task Force 141 managed to gather intel from Milena Romanova, sending them to St. Petersburg where they captured and interrogated Nolan for information. Sometime following his capture, Nolan managed to escape imprisonment and prepares to get revenge on Task Force 141 for capturing, interrogating and torturing him.
