Andres Rodriguez is a minor character in the Dexter episode "Swim Deep".
He was portrayed by Ezequiel Stremiz.
Biography[]
Rodriguez is a member of the Rojas cartel, a drug cartel acting as the Koshka Brotherhood's main rivals in Miami. He regularly hangs out at the cartel-owned Mateo's Bar.
Rodriguez appears when Dexter Morgan is being followed by Koshka boss Isaak Sirko. Hoping to get Isaak killed, Dexter walks into Mateo's Bar, where Rodriguez and two other Columbians are relaxing. Dexter utters the word "Koshkas" before walking into the restroom. Rodriquez sends one of the others after him, but he escapes out the window.
Isaak follows Dexter into the bar and is confronted by three Rojas cartel members. One of the Columbians attempts to shoot Isaak immediately and is gunned down. Isaak then shoots the other henchman with his remaining bullets, although the man wounds him in the process. Rodriguez takes the opportunity to attack Isaak but gets his arm sliced open. Isaak then grabs a nearby blunt instrument and bludgeons Rodriguez to death. Isaak is arrested for the murders due to blood from his gunshot wound, but is later released thanks to Joey Quinn.
