Hi. This is Thesecret1070. I am an admin of this site. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing... If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login. Other than that, enjoy Villains Wiki!!!
Andrew Cord is the main antagonist of the fourth season Highlander: The Series episode "Brothers in Arms".
He is an Immortal and Charlie DeSalvo's archenemy, serving as a professional soldier, fighting in both World Wars, Korea, and Vietnam. He became cynical and suffered years of racism, frustrating him, since he fought in the Civil War which he thought would give black people freedom and equal rights. But in between the wars, he watched as the hoped for equality was not happening and came to the conclusion that only in war he would find equality.
Andrew Cord was an Immortal who served as Joe Dawson's platoon sergeant in 1968 during the Vietnam War. He caught one of his men raping a local woman and tried to pay her off. When she insisted on reporting it, Cord killed her, telling Joe he looked out for his men. Moments later, the platoon were ambushed and nearly all of them were killed. Cord was seen being shot dead but, on reviving, carried Joe, who had lost his legs in a landmine explosion, to safety.
In 1995, Cord was working as an arms dealer. One of his customers was Maria Leonin, the girlfriend of Charlie DeSalvo who was working with rebels in the Balkans. Cord supplied her with faulty guns, resulting in several of their men being killed during an attempted ambush. When Cord turned up wanting payment, Maria refused and threatened to tell others not to trust him. Cord killed her and was found standing over her body by Charlie, who fled the scene.
Cord arrived back in the States at the same time as Duncan MacLeod and Joe. He and Duncan sensed each other at the airport, but before they could approach each other, Charlie shot Cord from atop a nearby building, "killing" him. Joe looked after Cord until he revived, reminding him who he was and explaining that he knew he was an Immortal.
Cord had been running a paintball centre in the area, where he took sadistic glee in shooting his yuppy clients who took him on together. Joe visited him and asked him to meet with Duncan, hoping to avoid a confrontation between his two Immortal friends over Charlie. Cord agreed but the meeting forstalled when Cord turned up at Joe's bar to meet Duncan only to find Charlie there. Afterwards, Cord turned up at Duncan's dojo and challenged him. Duncan easily won and told Cord he was sparing him for Joe's sake on condition he stay away from Charlie.
Despite promising to do so, Cord waited around outside Joe's Bar and made sure Charlie saw him. When Charlie chased after him, Cord quickly defeated and stabbed him, fatally injuring him. After Charlie died in his arms, Duncan tracked Cord down at the paintball arena. Cord taunted him with the fact that he had the home advantage since he knew the ground, but the advantage was soon lost as the two fought out in the open. Duncan slashed Cord across the stomach, causing him to fall to his knees. Impressed, Cord remarked "Damn, outstanding", moments before Duncan beheaded him and took his Quickening.
