Andy is a minor antagonist in Image Comics' The Walking Dead horror comic book series, serving as one of the three main antagonists of "Volume 10: What We Become", alongside Craig and Jud.

Biography[]

After Officer Rick Grimes, his son Carl, and Abraham Ford go out on a trip on their way to a locked police station filled with weapons and eventually have to stop due to a pileup of cars in a road, and decide to camp out for the night. Soon enough, three bandits named Andy and Jud who are lead by Craig ambush Rick, Abraham and Carl.

Rick attempts to fight the bandits after one of them holds a knife to Carl as he's sleeping, but he's quickly overpowered and to "punish" Rick, Jud drags Carl out of the car by his hair to attempt to rape him. Thankfully, Rick manages to rip out Andy's throat before Jud can commit the act and the other two are quickly killed before they leave.

Andy is the first person in The Walking Dead comic book series to have his throat ripped out by Rick with his teeth, the next being Morton Rose.
