Biography[]
In 1985, Anisha was one of many kids who was invited to a birthday party and to play a game of spin the bottle/seven minutes in heaven, where a kid named Charlie Logan spin the bottle and hoped to get a cute blonde girl to go in the closet with her but instead, he got Anisha in and after they were in the closet, Anisha tried to put the moves on Charlie, who resisted her advances, as when she tried to get him to show her his male appendage, he refuses and manage to burst out of the closet door (which was barricade by a chair) However, Anisha was upset that Charlie would reject her and decide to put a hex on him, which stated that he will NEVER find true love as each girl he would encounter will found the next guy and fall for him instead, followed by ripping his hair and walked out of the party.
True to what happened, it turns out that each time Charlie sleeps or have sexual actions towards a woman, she will found her true love the next day, which Charlies at first loved the idea of scoring with different women, but began to grow tired of it as this resulted in him believing that women only want to have sexual actions towards him because he is considered a lucky charm and nothing else, even when he is invited to their weddings as a thank you. He did believe that he found someone he developed feeling for; a woman named Camilla "Cam" Wexler but fear that if he slept with her, she would find her true love. So, his friend decides to test it by going one a date and then sleep with a ugly, morbidly obese woman named Eleanor, then his friend would go out with her and after learning nothing happened, Charlie believed that he broke the hex and decide to sleep with Cam. However, upon seeing a news that had Eleanor with a good-looking guy and kissing him on tv, Charlie called his friend and became enraged that he lied about going out with Eleanor (Because he didn't want to be Eleanor's true love, which Charlie told him to rip up the friendship card as punishment for lying to him) and after numerous attempts, which led to him smothers her in increasingly annoying ways, Cam to break up with him.
Wanting the hex to be over, Charlie arrived at the home of Anisha Carpenter, who, to his surprise look nothing like the goth girl from that party but rather looking like a normal woman and mother as Charlie explained that the hex she put on him back when they were kids caused all his girlfriends to leave him after being with him, which she doesn't remember and to help her remember, he tried to show her his male appendage that he refuse when they were kids, with her daughter being with her. Later in her house, Anisha revealed that Hexes aren't real and that her love back then was just a childhood crush. However, Charlie still refuses to believe this as if it wasn't real, then how is it that each woman he was with kept finding her true love. Anisha then convinced Charlie to go after Cam and see if she's really his true love.
By the end of the film, Anisha is shown opening a keepsake box and took out a voodoo doll of Charlie where she started removing the pins from it, suggest that she was aware of the Hex and that by removing the pin, lifted the hex from Charlie.
