Biography[]
Anna is a supermodel with a recreational life of drugs and partying even outside of her life with her twin sister Maria, her husband, and her daughter. Frank Saunders is one man Anna got involved with, doing drugs and having sex with her. On one fatal day, Anna crashed a car she was in with Frank while she was still high. Afraid and wanting to protect herself, Anna moved Frank to the driver's seat and fled. His brother, a priest, was devastated and vowed revenge on the woman responsible. As he didn't know which women in a guest book at the hotel Frank and Anna stayed out, Father Saunders tore the page out with the names of seven women and proceeded to kill them down the list. All women on the list before Anna were killed, except two: Giulia Torresi, whose death was faked to protect her, and a woman who passed away before the events of the episode.
Anna returned to the country by plane, the police greeting her at the airport and Father Saunders stalking her. She wasn't concerned for her safety and refuse to answer questions on Frank's death, but the police still made her have Maria make her public appearances. Father Saunders followed Maria back to the apartment building when picking up her niece, Anna's daughter. Mistaking her for Anna, Saunders jumps Maria, covers her mouth, and cuts her face with a crescent moon keychain like Frank's before knocking her out. Saunders then dragged Maria to a workshop and killed her with a drill. The papers published Maria's murder as Anna's instead to keep her safe. When Giulia's fiancé, Mario Gerosa, got suspicious about Anna, he interrogated her at her apartment. She confessed to accidentally killing Frank, offering to give Mario money out of assuming it was bribe, and out of being scared and ashamed herself. When Mario reassured her against her fears, Anna then described Father Saunders, remembering him as Frank's brother, Mario immediately recognizing him by memory. Mario rushed back as Saunders was about to kill Giulia, killing Saunders during a struggle to save her.
