Antares is a scorpion Mutian created by Crown and an antagonist in episode 5 of Shichisei Toshin Guyferd.
He is played by Kazumasa Seki.
Biography[]
Antares was presumably created by Megumi Shion dosing a human test subject with Fallah mutagenics.
Antares saw action when he was sent out after a Guyborg that had gone rogue after being exposed to Fallah and mutated. He confronted the fugitive Guyborg just as he reached the outside of the base and killed him.
Antares was later sent out by Shion to kill Guyferd with help from Guyborg 801, a Guyborg that had been modified and given enhancements to use to immobilize Gou. Guyborg 801 posed as a fugitive from Crown and lured Gou to a specific spot, at which point he lifted his disguise and transformed into a Guyborg before incapacitating Gou and holding him so Antares could finish him off. However, Guyborg 801 was then attacked by Rei using the Power Accelerator Boots, freeing Gou and allowing him to transform into Guyferd. Guyferd then fought Antares and defeated him by using his Fukaranbu attack to launch him off a cliff.
