Yue Jiang, also known as Ante Nora, is a major character in I'm the Grim Reaper. She was a doctor who spread a plague throughout the world under the orders of her boss, Judah. After her death, she is sent to the ninth level and Hell and forced to become a reaper under Satan named Scarlett, becoming the main protagonist.

Biography

Yue was born to a loving mother and had a childhood friend. She grew up wanting to be a doctor and eventually got her wish and joined the Red Spades, taking the alias Ante Nora. While she was innocent at first, over time she became corrupted and obsessed with money due to wanting to pay for her mother's medical expenses. Eventually, she gave herself the plague known as Scarlet Rot in order to study it and make a cure. This failed, however resulting in her death.

Somehow, Yue had managed to spread the plague and start the apocalypse, leading her to sin so great she was going to be sent to the ninth circle of Hell. Instead, however, she was made into a reaper by Satan and sent to Earth to collect one soul per day. Currently, Scarlett is taking this role while trying to recollect memories from her past life.
