Anthony Gupta is the major antagonist of The Mentalist TV show. He is one of Red John's minions.
He was portrayed by Ravi Kapoor.
Biogrpahy[]
After Madeline Hightower escapes after being accused of killing Todd Johnson and his friend Manuel, Red John sends his men to find her. One of them is Anthony Gupta. He kidnaps and tortures her cousin Max James, but he dies before Gupta can find out anything. Then Gupta finds a check from the bank and contacts an employee of the bank named Alan Dinkler. He demands that he steal a list of clients and kills his neighbor. Alan is forced to do just that. However, he is caught by the police. Gupta detonates a bomb planted on Dinkler. Alan is killed. The police investigate the case. The list ends up in the hands of the police. The coordinates are found in the toilet at a gas station. Lisbon goes there, and Gupta puts the same bomb on her as the one that was on Dinkler. He demands that she give him the list. She and Patrick Jane manage to arrest Gupta and remove the bomb. But Gupta tries to escape. Laroche kills him.
