The Anti-Monitor is the main antagonist of the Tomorrowverse.
He is an evil cataclysmic cosmic entity and the living embodiment of antimatter who seeks to destroy the existence of the multiverse, one reality at a time by initiating an antimatter wave that obliterates every alternate Earth. He is also the evil counterpart and the arch-nemesis of the Monitor; although, he initially lacked a sense of self, merely being an entity of power and hatred.
The Anti-Monitor was ultimately a force with an ostensibly noble goal, which was to prevent the collapse of all reality, however, it necessitated the erasure of the multiverse, since reality was unable to handle the volume of an ever-increasing amount of alternate universes. Rather than a single being, it was among thousands and potentially more, all identical in appearance and power, since they were the universe's proverbial immune system trying to avoid its utter destruction.
He is voiced by Ato Essando in his first villainous voice role.

Part One[]
The Flash, with the help of Iris West and Amazo, completed the universal tuning towers, which turn Earth intangible, thus the antimatter wave is unable to touch it nor destroy the universe through it. Despite this, seemingly the entity responsible erased numerous people, including anyone from a future timeline, leaving no trace of their existence as ash fades into nothing.

The Anti-Monitor becomes a physical entity
As the universal tuning towers temporarily aid realities avoid oblivion, he instead sends endless shadow demons. The shadow demons appear weak to strong sources of light or sufficient physical damage, but they ultimately reform.
He teleports Psycho-Pirate into his home dimension that he describes as "nowhere." The Pirate teaches the entity the concept of names, which indirectly leads to him accepting the name of the Anti-Monitor. He recruits the Pirate into his service, who then becomes his herald and agrees to give him his own universe with people who feel the same emotions as he does.
All of the Anti-Monitor's shadow demons combine into a single gigantic form on Earth-1, revealing that the creatures weren't individuals, but pieces of one single entity, the Anti-Monitor himself; he grows armor that protects his shadow form from his vulnerability to strong light.
Part Three[]
As the Anti-Monitor charged another antimatter attack, Supergirl had fatally wounded the Monitor, with the ancient being's billions of years of energy surging out from his satellite to every tuning tower, which transported the Earths and satellite out of reality, leaving the Anti-Monitor alone in space. The multiverse was transported to an unstable yet relatively secure dimension that existed beyond all reality, which was called the Bleed.
For 8 months, the inherent unstable nature of the Bleed caused frequent nature disasters on each Earth. On Earth-10, the Legion of Doom led by Lex Luthor had captured the Anti-Monitor's herald, Psycho-Pirate; Luthor had been torturing him for information, as well as to establish contact with the Anti-Monitor. Luthor had been offering alternate Earths to the Anti-Monitor to feign allegiance, yet while the Anti-Monitor could briefly breach the Bleed, it would eventually be pulled back into normal reality; during such attacks, Luthor had been collecting data about the creature to determine a vulnerability.
Luthor realised that the Anti-Monitor still held a weakness to light, but it needed to be an immensely powerful light, greater than a star; as each Earth had brought their own Sun, Luthor explained that Superman should absorb the light from 52 Suns, which would be enough to destroy the Anti-Monitor. Although, breaching its armour was still an issue, but was solved by the appearance of Warworld, which was piloted by Martian Manhunter, with assistance from Adam Strange and Lobo; while Warworld appeared to have been destroyed earlier, it had only been teleported away via Zeta waves.
When Superman was flying to the numerous stars in flux within the same space, he is overtaken by Supergirl, who revealed that she still had Monitor's shared energy that would make her faster, as well as expressing how she feels guilty for causing the crisis to become so dire. Superman tries to reassure her that it was manipulation by Psycho-Pirate from the Anti-Monitor, that killed Monitor, not her, however, she believes that it was only because she allowed them to do it. Captain Atom drags Superman back, making him realise it is too late, as Supergirl had already entered the maelstrom of solar energy, and was charging so much energy that she will die no matter what.
Meanwhile, Dr. Fate orchestrated a seance with Batman entering John Constantine's mind, as to repair the sorcerer's fractured memories. Batman learned that Constantine existed in another reality, prior the multiverse coming into being. They witness as before the Flash implemented the final Flashpoint, Constantine placed a spell on him that he said would provide direction; the Flash arrived on Apokolips eons ago, with more archaic Parademons appearing to die as he past them. Batman's questions how they are witnessing this, since they are in Constantine's memories, however, Constantine realises and admits that his direction spell was dark magic that split a piece of his soul and attached it to Flash.
Constantine also explained that Darkseid was a fixed point in time, thus his life would and must exist as long as the universe did, but in his first year of life, he hadn't achieved this state yet; thus, Constantine had directed Flash to murder the infant Darkseid. Though, Batman notes and Constantine agreed that Flash doesn't have cold-blooded murder in him, hence Constantine's spell, which had been killing Parademons as the Flash merely ran by them, and had already killed infant Darkseid just by Flash being in the room. However, despite being vulnerable as a baby, Darkseid was meant to become a fixed point in time, thereby his death split reality into infinitely expanding branches of reality, thus the multiverse.
The deposed ruler of Warworld, Mongul, had used fear to power the planet, however, that was out of personal preference, since any strong emotion can provide its energy. Manhunter visits Psycho-Pirate, who initially claims to be unable to influence hope on a multiversal scale, but the Martian convinced him to do it all the same. While space-faring heroes delay the Anti-Monitor, Psycho-Pirate unites all hearts throughout the multiverse with hope, which charges the Warworld cannon, which fires a large hole through the Anti-Monitor's torso. A supercharged Supergirl flew into the gap and then released 52 Suns of light that obliterated the Anti-Monitor, but the risk was proven correct as she died in process.
Before the remaining participants in the Crisis can properly recover on Monitor's satellite, Batman's group arrived to share what he had learned; Batman revealed the genesis of the multiverse wasn't a natural occurrence, but due to Constantine destroying a fixed point in time that shattered existence. The group realise that the multiverse is unsustainable, with every new branch threatening complete collapse of all things; therefore, it is determined that the Anti-Monitor was only a defense mechanism of the universe, erasing Earths to prevent further expansion and multiversal collapse. It is understood that the Anti-Monitor would not be the only immune response, which is proven as 10,000 Anti-Monitors manifest into the Bleed.
Realising the only solution for any form of survival is a miracle, they plan to locate the device that Brainiac tried to use in the future, which was the Miracle Machine. The Machine was hidden in a pocket dimension, but thanks to Nightshade's powers, with Martian Manhunter's guidance, the Machine is located and brought to the satellite. The Miracle Machine appeared inert, with John Stewart believing it only need power; he tried to use his Green Lantern ring, but it remained unresponsive to willpower. Constantine points out that magic is the solution, and begrudgingly attempted to power the Machine, knowing it might take his life; however, the Machine remained inactive, to the sorcerer's chagrin. Wonder Woman realised it needed godly magic, and thus offers her immortal demi-god life source to power the device; she dissipates into nothingness, but her energy provided the power that the Miracle Machine required.
The legion of Anti-Monitors send waves of antimatter to gradually clear the Bleed of remaining Earths, and complete the annihilation of the multiverse.
The survivors understand that the solution is to create a new monoverse, one reality that will combine every alternate self into a new life, however, with the cost of the memories and lives of those who pass through the Machine's veil into the new singular Earth. The Spectre appeared to witness the events, and clarify the reality of the new reality, including losing all already lost and worlds already erased. With varying levels of reluctance or enthusiasm, everyone passed the veil to become a part of their reborn, yet born, or unborn existences.
Constantine remained on the satellite with the Spectre, who questions him about staying, but Constantine sardonically notes that he knows he is doomed to Hell for inadvertently breaking existence and thus causing countless deaths, although also declared that Hell couldn't be worse than what he had already seen and experienced. The Spectre appeared to offer a comforting sentence, then walked away; Constantine followed after him, both seeming to vanish before the antimatter erased the Monitor's satellite.
In the Legion of Doom cell, on the empty Earth-10, the Anti-Monitor's herald, Psycho-Pirate sits alone and utterly weakened; he smiles and verbalises his delight about the silence, as no other soul existed in the Bleed for their emotions to drown him anymore. The antimatter dissolved that world and him, yet he achieved the first feeling of joy that didn't come from suffering of others; his death also proving that the Anti-Monitor likely never intended to honor their deal of providing a universe for him to rule.
Upon the new monoverse Earth, on Themiscrya, a young Princess Diana fearlessly balances along a handrail atop of cliff face, to the annoyance of her mother, Queen Hippolyta, whose irritation quickly faded due to her daughter's exuberant innocence. Thus, the Anti-Monitors had successfully erased the multiverse, which prevented the collapse of reality itself, yet at incalculable cost.

- The Tomorrowverse marks the Anti-Monitor's second animated appearance.
- The Anti-Monitor is a replacement threat for Darkseid, due to the Tomorrowverse being the reboot of the DCAMU.
- Unlike his comic and live-action counterparts, who have distinctive appearances, this version of the Anti-Monitor is a gigantic shadow creature, similar to The Empty Hand. Also different, the Anti-Monitor is essentially a cosmic immune system, wiping out universes to prevent their multitude to collapse all reality. Another difference is that the Anti-Monitor is only one of many.
- His second corporeal form looks somewhat similar to Amazo from the DCAU.
- The Crisis was hinted at the end of Constantine's short film; where Earth-1 is completely pissed off at Constantine for having Flash create the third Flashpoint that attracted the Anti-Monitor.
