The Ants (mainly the Ant Armies) are supporting characters in the 2024 Roblox RPG Block Tales, serving as supporting antagonists in the game's first chapter, Storming the Castle and as minor characters in the game's second chapter, A Toxic Time.
Some ants serve as enemies within the game and obstacles the players must face in order to progress, and some ants serve as minor NPCs that don't serve any significance whatsoever. The ant armies encountered in the first chapter serve the Supreme Ant.
Appearance[]
The regular ant army appear as a group of many ants with several legs and antennae, with the fire ants appearing the same except colored orange.
The Supreme Ant is a blue, Robloxian-sized ant. She has all the attributes of a normal ant but with anthropomorphism in the mix.
Biography[]
On their way to Roadtown, the player must go through a cave full of Ant Armies, Devious Rats, and Porcupines, which all share the common goal of defeating the player. After a while, the player suddenly encounters the Supreme Ant at the exit of the cave. As she makes her grand entry, she orders the player to bow down at her magnificent appearance. After a few seconds, the Supreme Ant suddenly gets furious at the player and fights them alongside two ant armies. After her defeat, the Supreme Ant flinches for a moment before suddenly combusting to pieces, allowing the player to advance forward.
In the Ant Hill, there are some Fire Ants that don't attack the player and instead are NPCs the player can interact with.
The Ants can later be refought in various floors throughout the pit, but that doesn't affect the storyline whatsoever.
Powers and Abilities[]
Ant Army[]
- Munch: The army of ants crawl up to the player, then they all charge up to bite the player.
- Call for Help: The ant army calls another ant army to support them and other enemies in battle.
Supreme Ant[]
- Munch: The Supreme Ant crawls up to her selected target and uses her mandibles to bite them.
- Call for Help: The Supreme Ant will call in an Ant Army to aid her in battle.
Trivia[]
- There is an achievement involving the Grandmant, which to get it, you have to ask the 2 fire ants watching a miniature TV to lower the volume so the Grandmant can get some rest.
