Anubias is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Sellon) of the first arc of Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge. He is an artificial Gundalian made by Mag Mel to serve him, and is Dan's rival.
Personality[]
Anubias is a fierce fighter who wants to beat Dan to become top dog in the Bakugan scene. Due to being the leader of Team Anubias, he has fans who admire him. He seems to be honnorable, to the point where he yells at Dan for letting him beat him so easily. However, he is not above using people for his own gain.
Biography[]
Anubias first appears beating a kid with ease with his Bakugan Horridian. He then meets Dan, Shun, and Marucho, along with his team of Jack Punt, Ben, and Robin. Taunting Dan before Ben fights him the next day, he is the one who gives Ben Horridain and Bolcanon to fight him before watching the fight from the sidelines, impressed at Drago's strength during the fight. He later becomes suprised when Drago beats Ben thanks to his powers.
The next day, he watched the battle between Jack Punt and Marucho. Later, when Zenthon appeared and beat Tristar and Krakenoid, he challenged him to a battle, but was not doing very well until Sellon helped him out with her Bakugan Spryon.
