Anvil is a minor antagonist in the video game Ride to Hell: Retribution.

He is voiced by David Howard Thornton.

History

Anvil is first met intimidating the brother of Jake Conway, Mikey, upon recognizing the jacket he's wearing belongs to their father and the leader of their rival gang, Retribution. Anvil, Colt, Meathook, and a few other Devil's Hand biker gang members chase after Mikey when he drives off until they capture him at a gas station where they proceed to murder him and shoot Jake, leaving him for dead.

Jake survives however and upon regaining consciousness, he promises to avenge his brother by killing everyone who was responsible for his death and first targets Anvil. Jake questions a drug dealer named Carlos who tells him that Anvil was last spotted at a nearby hotel with a prostitute, only to then spot him driving off and hides inside of a brewery to hide from Jake.

After performing an errand for a woman to get the key to unlock the doors and killing several more gang members, Jake chases Anvil down one last time until he crashes thanks to Jake's uncle Mack shooting him off his bike and interrogates him, where Anvil only reveals that his boss ordered the deaths of both of Toledo's children before Jake slashes his throat.

Appearance

Anvil is a tall and muscular man with a bald head, a handlebar mustache, and tattoos going down his arms. He wears a biker jacket, a black studded wristband, torn blue jeans, black boots, and no shirt.
