Apagador de Estrelas (Star Eraser) is a minor antagonist in the comic series Monica's Gang/Monica and Friends, appearing only in a single issue. He is a cosmic entity born from the permanent black point in space.
Biography[]
From the moment the Star Eraser emerged from his darkness, he immediately felt insulted by all the bright lights in the cosmos. He couldn't explain it. He simply hated everything that shines, so he made it his mission to turn them off. As he began to do so, an errant astronaut was nearby and noticed a large shadowy creature disturbing the stars, seemingly making them short-circuit and die. As he tried to comprehend the creature from afar, the Star Eraser acknoledged his presence and went on with the mission. The astronaut tried talking him down, to no avail. He then forced the ship down the creature's throat and shot it from the inside. Again, nothing happened. The ship phased through Star Eraser's body as if it wasn't there. It daunted him he didn't had the means to stop the creature, he knew the galaxy would eventually collapse if enough stars were to die by the Star Eraser's hands.
However, the Star Eraser suddently had a charge of heart. He had encountered a protostar. So puny and fragile, he couldn't help but to embrace it. The longer they remained in contact, the brighter the star shone. The Star Eraser also began to shine himself. High energy discharges were picked by the astronaut's ship, with autopilot overriding his controls and whisking him away at light speed. The Star Eraser had fused with the protostar and exploded into a supernova.
