Apex is a recurring antagonist of the Disney XD TV series Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures.
Apex is an evil overlord and the ruler of Planet Pointy-Head, who possibly held Pac-Man's (the series' titular main protagonist) parents captive. He first appeared in the episode Robo Woes, where his plan is to take over Pac-World and capture Pac-Man, Betrayus and President Spheros.
He is voiced by Colin Murdock.
Appearance
Apex resembles a common Pointy Head, having a pointy scalp, silver skin, four tentacle-like legs and two arms with three finger. However unlike other Pointy Heads, he appears to be far taller (but still short when compared to Pac-Worlders) and possesses dark red pupils.
Biography
Not much is mentioned about Apex's past, except that he lives on Planet Pointy Head and that he hired the Pacinator at some point. Then after the Pacinator possibly delivered Zac and Sunny to him, he took them to his home planet.
Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures
Apex made his physical debut in "Robo Woes" to give President Spheros a gift (which was later actually a trap to rule Pac-World), but was defeated by Pac and escaped in his robot suit. Apex then reappeared in "Invasion of the Pointy Heads" to make an agreement with Betrayus to conquer Pac-World, but later betrayed him afterwards. He escaped with his army after Pac and Betrayus discovered his weakness and then told Pac if wants to give a message to his parents, but then leaves, leading a trail of energy.
Powers and Abilities
- Red Beams: Apex's main (presumably) abilities are his red beams that he can shoot from his body, specifically when he uses his robot
- Telekinesis Beam: He uses this beam from his mouth for a few things, mostly to eat food.
- Home Sending Beam: He can send something or someone back where they belong
- Intelligence: Apex is seen using his intelligence to come up with plans and also to control his giant robot.
- Piloting: Like most Pointy-Heads, Apex is a robot pilot when it comes to the usage of his robot. However, he is an expert at it.
