The Apex Predator is a major antagonist in the Roblox video game Tower Defense X. It is a large Predator and is one of the strongest bosses in the game.

Appearance

Apex Predator appears to be a heavily armored Predator with a more robotic appearance. It's armor was coated in red paint, complete with spiked shoulder pads and a chest core with pipes. It carries an axe/bazooka hybrid weapon with four barrels, and has a flamethrower cannon on its left arm.

Biography

The Apex Predator appears as one of the main bosses of Endless mode, and is the last boss to be encountered before the Calamity Scout.

It is encountered on wave 70 as a major boss, Apex Predator can summon an army of Predators and Hunters, and carries a large rocket launcher/axe hybrid weapon that could even damage Warships. After it's health is fully depleted, it will pull out it's core and crush it with the last of it's power, causing an explosion that destroys the Predator itself and towers surrounding it. The Advisor comments that they thought the player would be killed by the Apex Predator before telling them to use the next few waves to rebuild defenses that were destroyed.

At wave 200, a new variation of the Apex Predator known as the Void Apex Predator is introduced.

Trivia

• The Apex Predator could be the return of the single Predator that is encountered on Intermediate, similar to how Eradicator MK I Combat is the return of MK I.
• Apex Predator was originally named "Marauder", but John prefers the term "Apex Predator" because it sounds way more cooler and fitting by how it looks as a stronger counterpart to most Predators.
