Apparition are minor antagonists in the 2024 Roblox RPG game Block Tales, serving as supporting antagonists of the game's 3rd chapter, All Hallows' Eve.
They are a type of enemy created by the third chapter's main antagonist, HATRED and seem to be based on the player themselves. They battle the player to prevent them from reaching their heart and interfering with HATRED, additionally supporting their master in its own boss battle.
Appearance[]
Apparition is a resemblance of a Robloxian character, acting as HATRED's clone of the player. They are a dark red figure with a large hole in their head and wield a sword.
Biography[]
After the player is manipulated by HATRED to defeat their other three emotions, the emotion soon takes over their Dream World and create Apparition in the final world section, Wrath. Apparition mindlessly compass the areas Inferno and Purgatory and attack the player in sight. When battling HATRED in the vein center, it will call upon an Apparition to support it in battle. Even after HATRED's defeat, Apparitions will continue to patrol the sections inside the Wrath world, and can also be refought alongside HATRED in the Hateful Nirvana in The Guru.
Trivia[]
- Apparition's definition according to many dictionary websites means "a ghost-like figure," reflecting how they appear in Chapter 3, which hosts the Ghostwalker. Another definition of Apparition is "to appear," referencing how they are creatures manifested by HATRED.
- Both of Apparition's attacks, Stab and Ball Toss are based on the player standard attacks, Sword and Ball respectively.
