April Harris
April Harris is the main antagonist from "Ever After", episode 2.20 of Beauty and the Beast.
She was portrayed by Danielle Bisutti, who also played Barb Pierce in Curse of Chucky, The Woman in White in Insidious: Chapter 2, and Freya in God of War.
Biography[]
April Harris is the wife of Frank Harris, and the couple were neighbors of Vincent Keller and Catherine Chandler during their time in witness protection as Veronica and Tim Vaughn. The couple met Cat and Vincent early in the episode, but later on, Frank was found shot to death by Deputy Lewis, who was on guard duty and spotted Frank climbing over his own fence. April was shown kneeling over her husband and crying over his death, while lashing out at the deputy for killing him. However, April's mourning was revealed as a charade for her true villainous personality, as she had actually masterminded her husband's murder.
As revealed later on, April was having an affair with Deputy Lewis, and her animosity towards Frank was shown when they met Cat and Vincent earlier in the episode. She and her illicit lover colluded together to kill Frank, and on the night of the murder, the evil April phoned Deputy Lewis right when Frank was arriving home from work, and she made sure that Frank couldn't get in the house. April turned up her TV so she wouldn't hear her husband calling for her, which prompted Frank to climb his fence. When Lewis arrived, Frank fired his gun, thinking that a prowler was in the area, only for Lewis to shoot and kill Frank.
Cat had suspected that April had her husband killed, but Vincent didn't want her investigating out of fear that their covers would be blown. While Cat was with Lewis, Vincent visited April in her home and casually asked her if she had Frank killed, with April stating that she didn't. However, Vincent sensed her heart rate elevating when she answered, meaning that she was lying, establishing April's reveal as a villainess. After Vincent rescued Cat from Lewis, who revealed his own role, he revealed them as an illicit couple and that they had Frank killed so they could be together. The couple was eventually arrested.
