I could have used the copper fingers instead of just thumbs.
~ Arachni-Thumb

Arachni-Thumb is a recurring villain from the Teletoon animated series, Sidekick. He is a monster, who has a bunch of robot arms strapped to his back that have a bunch of giant weaponized thumbs on them, made out of copper. He first appeared in "Days of Golly".

Biography[]

Arachni-Thumb first appeared in a Sidekick training video at the start of "Days of Golly", where be broke into a bank and stole all of their pens. However, when Arachni-Thumb tried to pick up all these pens, he dropped them all because he was merely using copper thumbs. Just then, Maxum Man and Golly Gee Kid came in to fight him. Golly Gee Kid clumsily stumbled over himself before crashing into the wall, while Maxum Man nailed is entry, by making himself look all pretty and dazzling when he did so. Arachni-Thumb gave him a whole bunch of thumbs ups to compliment his entrance. The tape ended here with no resolution as to whether they stopped him or not.

Arachni-Thumb returned to make a cameo in "Hello Dolly", during Entrepreneuronator's commercial advertising Eric Needles action figures. In the commercial, Arachni-Thumb was running away with a bag of actual money he stole from a bank, only to get pelted by an Eric Needles action figure, stopping him in his tracks.

Arachni-Thumb appeared and served a relatively non-villainous role in "Circus Jerkus", where The Ringmaster hypnotized him and a bunch of superheroes into becoming performers at his circus. Arachni-Thumb was a trapeze artist, using his mechanical thumbs to his advantage. Eric and Trevor were eventually able to break Arachni-Thumb free from his trance.

Arachni-Thumb appeared in "Eric-o and Mandy-et", where he, along with all the other villains in Splitsboro, teamed up to have Eric and Mandy separated.

Arachni-Thumb made a cameo in the episode "I, Sidebot", where he was one of the many villains, who fought against the LOIDS and lost. Arachni-Thumb later worked with the other heroes and villains alike, to build a second Splitsboro.

Arachni-Thumb appeared one last time in "OppoXOX", Arachni-Thumb was seen among the other villains on a crime spree, trying to take candy from a baby. Arachni-Thumb later went to rob a bank, only to be defeated by Master XOX, who had since turned to the good side.
