Biography[]
Aratrok was the leader and shaman of an orc tribe, the Red Skull Clan, and he traveled with his horde to the Temple Island, where a mighty artifact, the Skull of Shadows, was locked away. His purpose was to prevent the relic from falling into bad hands and to kill anyone found on the island. They found a group of goblins and humans who were there as an expedition on behalf of a wizard named Menelag. The orcs easily slaughtered the goblins and then set fire under the wooden houses of the people, who either died of smoke inhalation or the orcs killed anyone who tried to escape. There were very few survivors, Aratrok believed that killing them was no longer important, so he declared his victory, but then a few more people arrived, including Menelag's niece, Leanna, and a young man, Sareth, who was actually the Dark Messiah himself. The orc leader was confident and his troops prepared for battle, but the few humans defeated them and Sareth made it all the way to the Skull of Shadows, but Aratrok surrounded him with some orcs. He knew who the boy was, but he wasn't hostile to him, instead he offered him an honest and honorable duel and promised that if he died, his orcs wouldn't attack him and he could leave freely, but on the condition that he could only use melee or ranged weapons, not magic. Sareth accepted the duel and eventually they fought, Aratrok was not an easy opponent and was much tougher than the other orcs, however in the end the young man killed him and his orcs did not dare to break his promise but let their enemy go as their leader had promised. After his death, the clan fell into deep mourning, as they respected him greatly, so they gave him a decent burial and then the remaining orcs left the island.
Personality[]
Aratrok was a determined, bloodthirsty, cruel and confident orc. He showed no mercy or compassion to his opponent, but he was very honorable, so he fought almost exclusively in clean combat. He considered magic to be cheating, and he respected pure combat and the strong opponents.
Powers and abillities[]
Aratrok was a strong, dangerous, very tenacious swordsman. Even compared to other orcs, he could handle physical pain very well, showed no signs of exhaustion even after many injuries and was a talented swordsman. In addition, he was very muscular and strong physically, he could easily lift Sareth with one hand and throw him away. Since he was an orc, he was resistant to both fire and demonic magic, but he was equally susceptible to lightning.
Trivia[]
- If Sareth used any magical spells while fighting against Aratrok, his orcs will attack him.
