Ardal is supporting character in video game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. He is the commander of the soldiers of Crow's Perch led by the Bloody baron and his right-hand man.
Biography[]
Before the beginning of the game, Ardal served the Temerian army, but when the Third Northern War began, the Nilfgaardian army destroyed his unit. After his defeat, he deserted with other deserted Temerian soldiers, including Phillip Strenger, who went to Velen where they settled in the crow's stronghold, when Phillip became the lord of the stronghold, nicknamed the bloody Baron Ardal, and became his right-hand man.
Once Ciri has arrived at the castle, the Baron organizes a bonfire where Ardal participates in this post meeting and the other attendees ask questions like where did Ciri learn to swordfight and so on. After a short conversation, Ciri summons the baron to a horse race where the baron agrees, making a deal, when Ciri wins, he gives him his own sword and when Ciri wins, the baron gives her the horse and says that the race will start the next morning. Whoever wins the meld and the whiz is interrupted by the attacking basilisk.
When Geralt appears on the crows looking for Ciri, knowing she was there, he decides to meet the Baron where Ardal escorts him having a bit of a short conversation, for example, he wanted to know what Geralt and the Baron do when they're all locked up and Geralt says he has to ask the Baron himself.
