Villain Overview

Argos: When I merge your Miraculous together, I'll make a wish to create a better world. A free world. Where no one will be under anyone's control anymore, where no one will be excluded like I was! A world without people like you to decide what's right or wrong! Who gets powers and who doesn't!
Ladybug: There would be a terrible price to pay.
Argos: ... There's no price too high for me. I have nothing to lose.
~ Argos telling Ladybug his plans.

Félix Fathom, also known as Argos when he wields the Peacock Miraculous, and briefly known as Flairmidable while he wields the Dog Miraculous, is a major character in the French superhero cartoon series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.

He is Adrien Agreste's identical cousin who is obsessed with the Peacock Miraculous, thus engaging in multiple schemes to getting it from his uncle, Gabriel Agreste; while also plotting to steal Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous to wish for a world with absolute freedom. Though initially depicted as callous and deceitful, as the series progressed, he would gradually become more heroic; both planning to free Adrien from Gabriel's control, and later to help Ladybug stop Monarch and Tomoe Tsurugi's plans. In "Representation", it is revealed that he is a human Sentibeing created by his father, Colt Fathom, whose abuse shaped his obsession with freedom and control.

Like Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir, Claw Noir, and Nightmare Adrien, he is voiced by Benjamin Bollen in French and by Bryce Papenbrook in English.

Biography[]

Past[]

Before the events of the series, after repeatedly trying and failing to have a child with for his wife, the British aristocrat Lady Amelie Graham de Vanily, Colt Fathom made a deal with Gabriel Agreste in order to have a child like he and his sister-in-law Emilie did: in exchange for one of his most powerful bodyguards to protect his son, Gabriel would hand over the Peacock Miraculous, which would allow Colt to bring his dream to life and control it. Despite his revulsion to sorcery, Colt accepted the deal, and used the Peacock Miraculous' power of Amokitization to place an Amok inside his ring. From his jealousy towards Gabriel and Amelie, Colt created a child, whom he and Amelie named Félix. However, shortly after Félix was born, Colt fell mysteriously ill; the result of using the broken Peacock Miraculous, which also began to affect Emilie.

Believing he was being punished for his use of sorcery, Colt grew to despise Félix for indirectly causing his sickness. Colt would regularly abuse Félix throughout his childhood, calling him a monster and forcing him to obey every command he gave. Félix remained unable to understand why his father didn't love him, or why he felt obligated to obey him, even when his father separated him from anyone he didn't approve of. During this time, he accelerated through school, eventually becoming the youngest student to graduate high school in England. He also became close with his cousin Adrien during their childhood, using their identical appearances to play tricks on their parents.

Gradually, Félix began to understand that his life was somehow tied to his father's ring. And, as his father was on his deathbed, Félix took the ring for himself; thus, gaining his own freedom. As a result of his father's abuse, Félix became obsessed with securing his own freedom, and realized that the same power that gave him life could also take it away. Thus, he became fixated on getting the Peacock Miraculous from Gabriel to obtain the one thing that could still control him. At the same time, he also began planning to free Adrien from Gabriel, as he began to view the latter as being just as strict and controlling as his late father was.

Season 3[]

Félix 146

Félix hugging Adrien to steal his phone.

In "Félix," Félix comes to the Agreste mansion from London with his mother Amelie to see his cousin Adrien and his uncle Gabriel on the anniversary of Adrien's mother Emilie's disappearance. After they reacquaint with each other, Gabriel orders Adrien to take Félix to his room. Once there, Adrien apologizes for not coming to his father's funeral, saying that Gabriel thought it would be too painful for him given what happened to his mother before. Félix asks if he always does what his father tells him to, with Adrien answering that Gabriel is very protective of him. Félix then hugs Adrien, covertly pickpocketing his phone. Claiming to need a shower, he leaves for the bathroom, where he breaks into Adrien's phone, viewing evidence of his crush on Ladybug, and the video messages his friends had sent to cheer him up. Annoyed, he mocks all of Adrien's friends and deletes the videos from his phone.

He then asks Adrien for some of his clothes to wear and uses them to impersonate his cousin. In his disguise, he responds to the video messages, cruelly disregarding Adrien's friends, thus making them (with the exception of Marinette and Nino) question their friendship with him. Lila Rossi shares "Adrien's" response to Nathalie Sancouer and Gabriel, which the latter deduces to be the work of his nephew, deciding that it could help him get rid of his unwanted guests. Transforming into Hawk Moth, he Akumatizes Alya Césaire, Rose Lavillant and Juleka Couffaine into Lady Wifi, Princess Fragrance and Reflekta as The Punishers Trio in order to get revenge on "Adrien". Lady Wifi transports herself, Princess Fragrance, and Reflekta into Adrien's room via his phone, discovering both Adrien and Félix there, realizing that one is an impostor. Adrien tricks the Punishers into believing he is Félix by blaming him as the culprit—which they assume the real Adrien wouldn't do—and runs off to transform into Cat Noir.

Félix 375

Félix (disguised as Adrien) attempting to force himself onto Ladybug.

Before the Punishers can give chase, Hawk Moth informs them who the real Félix is. Knowing he has been exposed, Félix drops his act and confronts the villains using his karate skills, dodging their attacks and fending them off. Ladybug arrives and pulls him away from danger, bringing him to the roof of Le Grand Paris. Alone with Ladybug, Félix confesses "his" crush on her, and attempts to force himself onto her; disgusted, Ladybug punches Félix away and declares that he isn't the real Adrien, as he would never be so pushy. Cat Noir arrives and confirms that Félix is Adrien's cousin, criticizing his behavior. The Punishers arrive and surround Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Félix, the latter managing to steal Lady Wifi's tablet. Ladybug encourages him to break it and release the Akuma; however, Félix refuses and calls out Hawk Moth directly.

Speaking through the Punishers, Hawk Moth acknowledges Félix, who offers to help him steal Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses in exchange for the Graham de Vanily Twin Rings (not knowing that Hawk Moth himself possesses them). Hawk Moth instructs Félix to take the Miraculouses first, and he agrees, joining the Punishers in surrounding the heroes. Using her Lucky Charm object (an aerosol can), Ladybug defeats the Punishers by tripping up Lady Wifi, causing her to trip and redirect Princess Fragrance and Reflekta's attacks, while Cat Noir uses his staff to push Félix off the roof. Ladybug catches Félix and allows the tablet to smash on the ground, releasing the Akuma for her to purify.

Félix 518

Félix on the end card of his titular episode.

Later, back at the Agreste mansion, Adrien tells Félix that what he did to him was unforgivable, and Félix apologizes for his actions and promises to make it up to him, hugging Adrien and shaking Gabriel's hand. Before Félix leaves, Adrien tells him that if he feels upset or out of control, he should call him before he does something he'll regret. On the train back to London, Félix presents one of the Graham de Vanily Twin Rings to his mother, having stolen it from Gabriel when they shook hands. Amelie is delighted to see her son in possession of the ring and allows him to keep it, having wanted to see the rings returned to the family because of his curiosity toward them. Félix smirks as he looks out the window, while Gabriel, having realized what Félix did, bitterly takes Emilie's ring from her cryo-pod in his repository.

Season 4[]

Gabriel Agreste 237

Félix seemingly returning Gabriel's ring.

In "Gabriel Agreste", Gabriel hosts a masquerade ball and invites Félix and Amelie to attend, intending to retrieve his ring. On the way to the party, Félix watches one of Alya's videos about the Miraculous and their capabilities in intrigue. Félix and Amelie arrive at the party, and he quickly notices his uncle's brooches resembling the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculouses, becoming suspicious. Chloé approaches Félix and mocks his previous attempt at impersonating Adrien; Félix tricks her again into thinking that he is the real Adrien, and taunts her for being foolish. Gabriel then takes his nephew aside and asks him why he stole his ring; Félix says that his mother wanted him to have it, and gives it back to Gabriel, claiming that he's made a copy for himself.

Gabriel accepts this, but returns to Nathalie's room and erupts into a rage, having immediately realized that Félix gave him a fake ring. From the hall, Félix overhears Gabriel's conversation and leaves when Adrien calls him to his room. To obtain the ring and prevent Félix from deducing his secret identity, Gabriel transforms into Shadow Moth and constructs a Sentimonster copy of himself to make Félix vulnerable to Akumatization. Félix excuses himself from Adrien's room and sneaks into Gabriel's atelier, becoming pleased at his portrait of Emilie. The Sentimonster Gabriel approaches Félix and confronts him over the location of his real ring. Félix replies that it is in a "safe place" and accuses his uncle of being Shadow Moth; Sentimonster Gabriel denies this and threatens to destroy Félix's life with the snap of his fingers.

Gabriel Agreste 344

Félix akumatized by an Akuma.

Panicked, Félix becomes vulnerable and is infected with an Akuma. Shadow Moth offers him the power to escape the Sentimonster Gabriel and rebuffs Félix's accusations that he is Gabriel Agreste. Refusing to believe this, Félix rejects Shadow Moth's Akumatization and flees—as he does so, he tears the Sentimonster Gabriel's pants using a button from his shirt. Shadow Moth decides to Akumatize his Sentimonster into The Collector and sends him after Félix to force him to reveal the location of the ring. Félix runs outside of the mansion to evade Collector, and is saved by Ladybug and Cat Noir; Cat Noir inquires why Collector is after him, and Félix claims ignorance.

Félix stands by as Ladybug and Cat Noir defeat Collector and returns to the mansion once everything has been restored to normal. While he and his mother are leaving, he notices that Gabriel—who destroyed his Sentimonster once it was no longer of use—no longer has a tear on his pants, reaffirming his suspicions about his uncle. Sometime later, Gabriel plants replicas of the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculous in the safe behind Emilie's painting in anticipation of his nephew's return.

Risk 361

Félix holding the fake Butterfly and Peacock Miraculouses.

In "Risk", Félix learns of Gabriel's plan to send Adrien on a months-long world tour for a photo shoot with Lila Rossi (actually a cover, as Gabriel's latest Akumatized villain had influenced the Parisians into taking dangerous risks, a herald of his endgame plan). As a result, he leaves London and infiltrates the Agreste mansion disguised as Adrien, revealing himself to his cousin when he returns home. Félix offers to help Adrien by taking his place and standing up to Gabriel for him; influenced by Risk, Adrien agrees to the plan and leaves the mansion. Using his disguise, Félix approaches Nathalie and covertly steals her tablet, leaving when Gabriel enters the room. He heads to Gabriel's atelier, utilizing some high-tech equipment to open his safe and pilfer the two fake Miraculouses, taking them as confirmation that his uncle is Shadow Moth.

In doing so, Félix accidentally accesses the repository below the Agreste mansion, where he discovers his aunt Emilie being preserved in a cryo-pod. Horrified, he quickly returns to the atelier and discards his equipment before Gabriel and Nathalie can discover him. Félix attempts to defy Gabriel by refusing to go on the trip—surprising the latter with his determination—before Nathalie talks him down. Realizing that the swap was a mistake, Adrien texts Félix to get him to call the plan off; instead, he ignores the message, making Adrien realize that he has been tricked again. At the train station, Ladybug approaches Félix, believing him to be Adrien, and attempts to talk him out of leaving Paris; Félix insists that he has no choice, and boards the Startrain. Moments later, Adrien returns to the mansion and discovers one of Félix's devices, only to be distracted by the appearance of Strikeback.

Flairmidable

Félix transformed into Flairmidable.

In "Strikeback", still on the train, Nathalie and Lila reassure Félix about the trip, and he leaves for the bathroom. There, he takes out the fake Peacock Miraculous and tries to activate it using the information stored on Nathalie's tablet, only to realize that it is a fake and crush it in anger. Later on, determining that she and her allies cannot defeat Strikeback while under Risk's influence, Ladybug decides to recruit the one person not affected by Risk's power, deducing this to be "Adrien". Unifying with the Horse and Rabbit Miraculouses, Ladybug becomes Pennybug and teleports herself to the Startrain, meeting with Félix and asking for his help. Pennybug retrieves the Dog Miraculous with her yo-yo, revealing to Félix that the yo-yo can summon the Miraculous within the Miracle Box, and grants it to him; Félix accepts, transforming into Flairmidable. Pennybug explains that the Dog Miraculous' power of Fetch allows him to summon any object that he has touched—eagerly, Flairmidable touches her yo-yo, before she explains that he must touch an object with his ball.

Using the Rabbit Miraculous' Burrow, Pennybug takes herself and Flairmidable into the past, arriving at the day Shadow Moth Akumatized Froggy into Risk. Under Pennybug's instruction, Flairmidable touches Froggy's Akumatized object, his plushie, with the ball, and returns with her to the present day; finding that Strikeback and its clones have nearly destroyed Paris. Flairmidable uses his Fetch to summon the plushie, allowing Ladybug to de-Akumatize Risk and remove his influence in Paris. Ladybug and Flairmidable stop to recharge their Kwamis, where he voices his intentions to stand up to Gabriel and keep fighting by Ladybug's side, saying he feels unbeatable. Transforming again, Flairmidable regroups with Ladybug and the rest of her team, listening as Ladybug formulates a plan to defeat Strikeback—unbeknownst to her, he manages to tag her yo-yo with his ball. Flairmidable immediately abandons Ladybug's plan and flees, expressing remorse for Strikeback's fate as it and its clones are dropped into the sun.

Strikeback 460

Flairmidable holding Ladybug's yo-yo after his deal with Gabriel.

Afterward, Gabriel angrily returns to his mansion, discovering Flairmidable waiting for him. Flairmidable discloses his identity and demands to be given the real Peacock Miraculous, threatening to tell Adrien about Emilie if Gabriel refuses, while also offering to give him something much better in return—all the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses, and his wedding ring. Gabriel agrees to the deal and exchanges the Peacock Miraculous for his wedding ring. Flairmidable honors their deal and activates Fetch, taking Ladybug's yo-yo just as she realizes her mistake. Flairmidable hands it over to Gabriel, allowing him to steal all of the Chinese Zodiac Miraculous from the Miracle Box. Flairmidable detransforms and renounces Barkk, turning the Dog Miraculous over to Gabriel as a bonus, before leaving him alone with his prize. That night, as Hawk Moth broadcasts his victory to Paris, Félix is seen riding the Startrain home to London with the Peacock Miraculous.

Season 5[]

In "Multiplication", Ladybug and Cat Noir discuss how the latter was fooled into believing that Félix was Adrien and gave him the Dog Miraculous, which allowed him to steal all of the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses and deliver them to Shadow Moth (now calling himself Monarch). Cat Noir determines that Félix and Monarch must know each other, and that they must find Félix and make him reveal where Monarch is hiding or who he is. Using their space powers, the heroes fly to Félix's home in London, where they meet Amelie; Amelie claims that Félix has not returned home since he left to visit Adrien in Paris, and Ladybug and Cat Noir decide to continue looking for clues to his whereabouts.

Returning home, Adrien reflects on how Félix manipulated him and decides to follow Marinette's advice about dealing with his father, which proves successful. Simultaneously, Marinette becomes increasingly distressed over how her love blinded her to Félix's deception and decides to give up her feelings for Adrien to avoid making another mistake. Weeks later, Amelie calls Félix out for teatime, revealing that he is merely in hiding. Félix activates the Peacock Miraculous and meets its Kwami, Duusu; Duusu inquires if he is his new holder, with Félix insisting that he is much more than that.

In "Emotion", prior to the events of the episode, Félix began using the Peacock Miraculous, becoming the supervillain Argos. On the night of Gabriel and Tomoe Tsurugi's Diamonds Dance, he creates the Sentimonster Red Moon from his hatred and anger, which allows him to snap away anyone who is bathed in its light. Using this power, he covertly snaps Adrien away after a date with Marinette, and heads to the Diamonds Dance in his place; after noticing "Adrien's" changed demeanor, Marinette becomes motivated to sneak into the dance and speak to him. Arriving at the dance, Félix greets Gabriel, Tomoe and Kagami, becoming shocked at the sight of the latter's ring. Amelie then bursts into the event, lambasting Gabriel for doing nothing to help her find Félix before being escorted out while he looks on, sadly.

Félix subsequently joins Kagami as the dance's king, and learns that Adrien and Marinette are dating. He inquires if Kagami is jealous of "his" and Marinette's relationship, Kagami replying that she still has feelings for him, but will resist them for Marinette's sake. As the dance begins, Félix dares Kagami to leave the party with him. Kagami considers his offer, but declines, not wanting to disappoint her mother; Felix says that this proves she isn't as free as she claims. Marinette approaches Félix as he and Kagami prepare to dance, telling him that she loves him. Félix keeps Marinette from leaving by dancing with her, to the disgust of Gabriel and the other partygoers.

When Marinette remarks that they are looking at her like she's a monster, Félix responds that the party goers are really the monsters. Immediately, Marinette realizes Félix's deception and demands to know what he did to Adrien. Félix then transforms into Argos, releasing Red Moon from his sleeves. He informs the party goers of Red Moon's abilities and that they are now at his mercy, snapping Chloé away as a demonstration. Argos grabs Marinette and yells at Gabriel when he stands up in defiance, announcing that he is going to put an end to his controlling behavior; snapping him away and the rest of the party goers away. Argos tells the devastated Kagami that she is now free from her mother's control, and leaves with Marinette. Marinette demands to know where Adrien is, Agros replying that he is truly fond of his cousin and would never harm him.

He then leaves Marinette inside of a dumpster, asking her to stay put. As Red Moon grows over Paris, Argos rampages across the city, singing and snapping away anyone he comes across. Ladybug confronts Argos, and he announces his intentions to steal her and Cat Noir's Miraculous. Ladybug assumes that Argos is working for Monarch and begins to fight him, furious for his previous betrayal. Argos replies that he works for no one, and only helped Monarch because it suited his own plans, explaining that he needed the Peacock Miraculous to steal the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses. He explains that he plans to to wish for a world where nobody will be controlled and excluded like he was, and without people like Ladybug to decide who receives power and who doesn't.

Ladybug retorts that there will be a price to pay for his wish; Argos hesitates, but says that no price is too great for him. Still, Ladybug refuses to give up her Miraculous, remarking that Argos is no better than Monarch. In response, he declares that, if she doesn't cooperate, he will use Red Moon's power to transform the world, snapping away everyone until there is no one left. To avert this, Ladybug summons her Lucky Charm, which creates nothing. Argos takes this as a sign that nothing can stop him and continues threatening Ladybug. However, realizing how to beat Argos, Ladybug refuses, insisting that victory isn't always what they think it is. Frustrated, Argos snaps Ladybug and the rest of Paris away. He explores the empty city in delight, until Kagami appears and threatens him for taking away everyone she loves.

Argos raises his fingers and tells her that not everyone is gone, bringing Adrien back. He declares to the bewildered Adrien that he has done everything for him, creating a better world where nobody will be able to tell them what to do. Kagami attacks Argos in rage, while Adrien attempts to reason with his cousin to undo his actions. Argos expresses confusion, claiming the three of them now have everything they need to be happy. When Adrien replies that he can't be happy without his family and the girl he loves, Argos brings them to the dumpster where he left Marinette. To his surprise, he finds her gone, and attempts to bring her back. When he is unable to do so, he reels in horror, apologizing. Adrien and Kagami accuse him of being unable to control his powers and order him to return everyone.

Argos agrees, admitting that he never wanted to hurt them, and snaps his fingers to undo his actions. At that moment, Ladybug returns to the alley where Argos had left her and transforms back into Marinette, reuniting with Adrien and Kagami. Argos watches the three embrace and heads to a rooftop, where he looks up to Red Moon. He acknowledges that he shouldn't have created it out of anger, and that it's power is too dangerous for him to use. He then asks Red Moon for forgiveness, referring to it as his "sister", and releases it from existence, breaking down crying. Later, Argos returns to London, where Amelie says that he was right about Gabriel, denouncing him and his associates as monsters. Argos detransforms and embraces his mother, telling her that not all of them are.

In "Pretension", Argos spies on Adrien and Kagami as they are headed to fencing class. As Kagami is driving away with Tomoe, he hops onto their car, Tatsu, and listens as Kagami attempt to convince her mother not to see her and Adrien as a couple. Angered by Tomoe's harsh criticism of her daughter's emotions, he slices the sun roof with his fan, crashing Tatsu and kidnapping Kagami. In response, Tomoe calls Gabriel to inform him that Argos has returned, and allows herself to be Akumatized into Matagi Gozen with the Miraculous powers of Venom, Multitude, Voyage, and Sublimation in order to track him down and reclaim the Peacock Miraculous. Argos brings Kagami to the Eiffel Tower, where she attempts to attack him. He detransforms back into Félix and asks her to stop, insisting that he only wants to talk.

Félix admits that he hasn't been able to stop thinking about Kagami since they last met, and has followed her ever since, believing that they are the same. Kagami criticizes Félix for stalking and then kidnapping her, deeming him inept at social relations. Félix apologizes for his actions, but states that he couldn't allow Tomoe to talk to her in such a way. Having given herself a superhuman sense of smell using Sublimation, Matagi and her Multitude copies track Félix to the Eiffel Tower, followed by Ladybug and Cat Noir. Félix transforms again and escapes with Kagami, chased by Ladybug and Matagi Gozen. As they are hiding from Matagi, Kagami tells Argos that if he were to let her go, her mother would no longer pursue him. Argos replies that he isn't here to return Kagami to her mother, but to free her.

Kagami dismisses Argos' mission and tosses him aside, exposing herself to Matagi, who attempts to paralyze her with Venom. Argos saves Kagami and flees with her; Kagami expresses horror that her mother would pretend to save her only to attack her, and Argos responds that his own father was a thousand times worse. Prioritizing Kagami's safety over having to fight, Argos stops and snaps his fan into pieces, spreading the pieces in multiple directions in order to throw Matagi off his scent. Argos and Kagami retreat to the sewers, where the latter detransforms. Kagami inquires why Félix doesn't simply use his powers to create a Sentimonster to help them. Félix politely asks that she not call them monsters, saying that he refuses to create a being just to control, abuse and ultimately destroy it.

He elaborates, stating that anyone who creates someone has a duty to protect, love them, and help them discover themselves; and that depriving them of such is monstrous. Moved by his compassion, Kagami asks if Félix is talking about himself; he retorts that he is talking about the both of them. Ladybug and Cat Noir arrive and confront Félix, demanding that he hand over Kagami and the Peacock Miraculous. To Félix's surprise, Kagami stands up for him, saying that he doesn't know how to express himself, and that everyone is wrong about him, including herself. Matagi and her clones then appear and begin firing upon the heroes, who defend Kagami and Félix. To defeat Matagi, Ladybug decides to trust Félix, allowing him to transform and escape, distracting Matagi long enough for her, Cat Noir and Kagami to defeat and de-Akumatize her.

Ladybug and Cat Noir remark on how they let Félix get away, hoping that they don't regret it. In response to her helping Ladybug and Cat Noir, and ruining her and Gabriel's plan, Tomoe deems Kagami a disappointment and demands her to give her the ring, bearing their family crest. Sometime later, Kagami and Félix secretly meet inside a movie theater. Félix hands Kagami the real ring, telling her that the one she gave her mother was actually a fake. He informs her that she is the last of the Tsurugis, not her mother, and that the rules of her family will be dictated by her. Pleased, Kagami holds hands with Félix.

In "Representation", prior to the events of the episode, Félix and Kagami had begun dating in secret. During this time, Félix informed Kagami that Gabriel is Monarch; in turn, Kagami revealed her suspicion that Marinette is Ladybug (being revealed to have suspected as much since the events of "Perfection"). After she and Adrien have been forced to move to London by their parents, Argos appears outside Kagami's window. The two reunite and run off together, returning to Paris. They go to the Eiffel Tower where the school's end of the year party is being held, observing Marinette from afar. Argos asks Kagami if she is sure Marinette is Ladybug; Kagami replies that there is no other explanation.

Argos is hesitant to trust Marinette, but Kagami says that she is her friend, and they they don't have a choice; as her mother and Gabriel Agreste will never allow them to be together, they require Ladybug's help to stop them. Argos agrees with Kagami and the two embrace. He then heads down to the party and detransforms, beginning to impersonate Adrien. Using this disguise, he lures Marinette away from the party, and back to the art room at the school. Duusu expresses sadness at Marinette's plight, but Félix encourages him by saying that they are only doing this to have a happy ending. Félix transforms back into Argos, and, from Kagami's desire, creates the projector-themed Sentimonster Once Upon a Time. Once Upon a Time uses its power on Marinette in the art room, projecting a play starring Félix and Kagami.

Through their performance, the two explain Félix and Adrien's origins as Sentimonsters created by Colt Fathom and Emilie Agreste, as well the reasoning for Félix's obsession with freedom and why he betrayed Ladybug to Monarch. The play ends with Félix and Kagami telling Marinette that they require her help to defeat Gabriel Agreste/Monarch. Marinette wakes up from Once Upon a Time's influence to find its purified Amok, and decides that she'll help Félix. Back in London, Argos returns with Kagami, asking if Marinette is ready to face the father of the boy she loves. Kagami replies that nothing will stop her now, and the two share a kiss. Unbeknownst to him, his escape with Kagami causes her and Adrien to be locked in solitary confinement rooms by their parents, who prepare to initiate Operation Perfect Alliance.

In "Conformation", it was shown that Amelie fell victim to his uncle's Operation Perfect Alliance, which tricked all humanity into thinking that Ladybug and Cat Noir kidnapped Adrien and Kagami, however it's unknown if Amelie became part of the Miraculized Army or if Félix fought said army and tried to rescue his cousin and girlfriend.

In "Re-creation", after Gabriel uses the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses to create a new world, sacrificing himself in the process, Félix alongside his mother moves in at the Agreste Mansion and joins in a pool party there seen alongside Kagami. Some time later, Marinette decides to allow her superhero allies to keep their Miraculouses on a full-time basis, including Félix. Argos is seen joining Ladybug, Cat Noir and their allies in patrolling Paris, having now joined their team.

Appearance[]

Physical appearance[]

Félix is tall with blond, combed-down hair and bright green eyes. He is borderline identical to his cousin Adrien. The only noticeable differences are their clothes and the different ways they style their hair.

Civilian attire[]

He wears a light gray, long-sleeved dress shirt with a black neck tie underneath a dark gray vest, dark gray dress pants, and black dress shoes.

As Flairmidable[]

Given that his appearance is similar to Cat Noir's, Flairmidable has messy hair which, unlike Cat Noir's, doesn't cover his ears. His outfit consists of an orange suit with white on his torso and arms and dark-grey parts on his shoulders and legs. His weapon, a ball, hangs on and white boots with dark grey outsoles. He also wears orange and white dog ears and a mask consisting of the same colours to cover his face. When transformed, the collar necklace becomes like it normally does when Miss Hound transforms.

As Argos[]

Argos has a blue jumpsuit with light blue lines running down each of his sides with a peacock-feather design (with dark blue feathers with light blue centers) with a turtle neck that has a peacock-feather-shapped zipper that is dark blue with a light blue center. Over it, he has a tailcoat of the same color and a pale yellow inside with three dark blue straps with light blue buttons around each side of his torso, similar straps around his wrists, a five-pointed tail that resembles a peacock tail with the design of a dark blue peacock feather with a light blue center on each point and a hood that has two feather-like shaped straps with light blue buttons, on on each side, and adorned with real peacock feathers. He uses dark blue gloves and blue high boots with a dark blue strap with a light blue button on each one. His skin is pale indigo and his eyes have light magenta irises and vivid violet sclera. He also has light green hair and wears the Peacock Miraculous in the center of his jumpsuit.

Personality[]

When Félix first arrives at the Agreste mansion with his mother, he appears to be a nice boy as he greets Adrien after not having seen him for a year and lets him show him around his room at his father's command. However, this is merely a facade as in reality, he and his mother hate Gabriel Agreste and only came to the Agreste mansion to steal Adrien's father's wedding ring, and Félix was even willing to work with the supervillain Hawk Moth (not knowing that he and Adrien's father are one and the same) to this end. His hate for the Agrestes is so deep that he impersonated Adrien and made a hateful video call to his friends on Adrien's tablet to destroy his reputation with them, even though it was a pointless act of cruelty that did not help his primary goal of stealing the wedding ring at all. At the episode's end, he pretends to feel remorse for what he did and makes a false apology to Adrien before leaving the mansion. Félix realizes that Gabriel is Hawk Moth when he and his mother return to Paris for another visit. Although Gabriel was able to fool him into thinking otherwise with the use of a Sentimonster, Félix realizes that his suspicions were right after finding that his uncle's pants weren't ripped (as he tore the pants of the Sentimonster version of him during their fight).

Despite his generally unpleasant personality, Félix does seem to genuinely care for his mother, as he asks her if she wants the wedding ring after he successfully steals it from Gabriel (although she allows him to keep it for himself). Félix was also horrified to discover that his aunt was hidden under the Agreste mansion in a comatose state.

Powers and abilities[]

As a civilian[]

Félix is skilled at manipulating people for his desires, taking advantage of Adrien to turn his friends against him, and later convincingly faking remorse for his actions to him. He is also very agile and a skilled karateka, to the point of being able to hold his own against the Akumatized villains Lady Wifi, Reflekta, and Princess Fragrance by himself and all at the same time.

As Flairmidable[]

As Flairmidable, Félix has enchanted strength, speed, and durability. He can use the Dog Miraculous's special superpower, Fetch, to summon an object he's tagged with his ball from any distance.

As Argos[]

As Agros, Felix has the abilities of a typical Miraculous holder like basic combat skills. In addition, he can also create Sentimonsters with the feathers on his hand fan.

Weaknesses[]

  • His amokized ring: Being a sentihuman he has his amok in his late father's ring, and whorever who gets their hands on his ring will also have control over Félix, as shown in "Representation" when Colt controlled his son through his ring as a puppet and forced him to abandon anything which displeased him. Also, as the ring contains his amok, it's linked to his life force so if the ring is destroyed, so will be Félix, even a slight damage on the ring was enough to cause pain to Félix. However, Félix managed to get rid of this weakness by taking the ring from his father after his death, thus gaining his own will and freedom.
  • The Peacock Miraculous: As a sentihuman created by the Miraculous of the Peacock, it can also be used to dissapear Félix by purifying his amok, thus leaving his existence at the mercy of its holder as his uncle threatened to do to him once in "Gabriel Agreste". However, Félix also got rid of this weakness by trading all other Miraculouses and his uncle's wedding ring in exchange of the Peacock Miraculous, thus securing his existence.

Relationships[]

Colt Fathom and Amelie Graham de Vanily[]

Félix is shown to love and care for his mother deeply. He is willing to go to any length to make her happy, as shown in his debut appearance, where he sets out to steal the Graham de Vanily Twin Rings because of her desire to have them returned. He is also unnerved when Sentimonster Gabriel Agreste threatens to destroy him and mentions how his mother would be affected. Their relationship is trusting enough that he is able to get her to hide him from Ladybug and Cat Noir—though it seems that she is unaware how he betrayed the former—and later convince her to find out how heartless Gabriel Agreste is. She is also aware of his identity as Argos, and appears to support his actions.

By contrast, Félix's relationship with his father Colt Fathom is much more rocky; as Colt resented Félix for indirectly causing his illness from the Peacock Miraculous. As a result, he abused Félix all throughout his youth by using his Amok to control his actions and forcefully separate him from anything he didn't approve of, repeatedly calling him a "monster". This would go on to spur Félix's obsession with freedom and freeing others from control, and he would later comment that his father was "a thousand times worse" than Tomoe Tsurugi. That said, it seems that Félix was still somewhat affected by Colt's death, being bitter at the Agrestes for not attending his funeral before the events of the series.

Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir[]

In his first few appearances, it appears that Félix despises Adrien, being bitter at him for not attending his father's funeral. He attempts to ruin Adrien's reputation out of spite, and uses his ability to disguise as Adrien for this end; telling off his friends and forcing himself on Ladybug, though he later apologizes for this. He openly views him as foolish and pathetic, mocking his crush on Ladybug and inability to make decisions. Some of his dislike for Adrien appears to stem from envy of having friends and support, while he has neither of those things. Still, he encourages Adrien to stand up for himself against Gabriel and make his own choices, and impersonates him in order to make this happen.

Later in the series, Félix confirms that he does genuinely love Adrien and wishes for his happiness; and that all his previous actions towards him were the result of his plans to free him from Gabriel. To this end, he attempts to use Red Moon to exterminate the world's population out of the delusional belief that he, Kagami and Marinette will be happier when there is nobody left to hold them back. When Adrien criticizes his plan and points out that he cannot control his powers, he repents and undoes his actions, admitting that he never wanted to harm him. With Cat Noir, Félix dislikes him somewhat, seeing him mostly as an obstacle towards his goals. As of "Re-creation", he now appears to have resolved any issues with Cat Noir, now working alongside him as part of his and Ladybug's team.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng/Ladybug[]

Félix dismisses Marinette's feelings for Adrien at first, but after learning that she and Adrien are in love and happy with each other, he becomes much more affectionate towards her. He dances with her in "Emotion" while impersonating his cousin, and encourages her love for Adrien, speaking ill of those at the Diamonds Dance who are disgusted by her. As he begins his plan, he hides her in a dumpster for her own safety, wanting to protect her knowing how happy she makes Adrien. When he thinks he has accidentally snapped her away and cannot bring her back, he panics, and repentantly brings all of his victims back. In contrast to his feelings for Marinette, Félix openly dislikes Ladybug.

In their first encounter, he attempts to force himself onto her as part of his plan to ruin Adrien's reputation, and then tries to take her Miraculous for Hawk Moth in exchange for the Graham de Vanily Twin Rings. Later, he fools her into thinking he is Adrien when she approaches him with the Dog Miraculous, joining her as Flairmidable. He pretends to be enthusiastic and happy to help her, and is seemingly aware of the crush she has on him, all the while taking advantage of her trust to betray her. In the end, he abandons her and uses his power of Fetch to steal her yo-yo, trading it off to Gabriel in exchange for the Peacock Miraculous. After he becomes Argos, he expresses a more personal dislike of her.

He is coldly dismissive of his betrayal towards her, seeing it only as a necessary to achieving his goals, and voices his intention to take her Miraculous to create a world without control. Because of his views, he sees Ladybug as being no better than Monarch, because of her using her powers to decide what is right or wrong, and choosing who gets to have powers with the Miraculous. During their fight, he taunts her inability to stop him and Red Moon, while growing increasingly frustrated by her stubbornness and insistence that he won't win, ending with him snapping her away—although he later revives her and all of his victims. However, after working with her to stop Matgi Gozen, and learning that she and Marinette are the same, Félix would resolve all his previous issues with Ladybug, instead deciding to help her stop Monarch, and later joining her superhero team.

Gabriel Agreste/Hawk Moth[]

Unlike Adrien and Emilie, Félix hates Gabriel, viewing him as a cold, callous man who wishes to control everyone around him. He at first remains civil with his uncle, putting on a friendly façade in their interactions, but their relationship shifts dramatically after he begins to suspect—and later confirms—that his uncle is Shadow Moth/Monarch. He becomes open about his feelings towards Gabriel, and uses this knowledge to force his uncle to surrender the Peacock Miraculous in exchange for Ladybug's yo-yo and the other Miraculouses. He later uses his new powers to destroy his uncle, determined to free Adrien, his mother, and himself from him, but ultimately returns him along with the rest of Paris. Gabriel likewise despises his nephew, and attempts to go back on their deal by taking the Peacock Miraculous from him.

Later, Argos became determined to help Ladybug to defeat his uncle to stop him and also to be able to love Kagami freely, and he does this by revealing his villain identity to Marinette.

Kagami Tsurugi[]

Félix seems to think of Kagami as something of a kindred spirit, as both of them have been closed off their entire lives and seek freedom. While their initial meeting is cold, he eventually becomes surprised by her and shows interest in "Emotion", encouraging her to break free from her mother's control and trying to ensure her, Adrien and Marinette's freedom by snapping away everyone else in the world. He later admits that he has become fascinated by her, although he ends up expressing this by stalking and kidnapping her (which she calls him out on). He becomes determined to protect her at all costs, by helping her escape Matagi Gozen, and by trying to free her from her mother. He is able to make a sizable impression on her by the end of their first meeting, and the two subsequently start a relationship.

Quotes[]

Season 3[]

You always do everything your father tells you to do?
~ Félix speaking to Adrien.
Tch! Of course that idiot has a crush on a superhero.
~ Félix dismissing Adrien's crush on Ladybug.
First of all, thanks so much for all your messages, guys, really. Sending me messages on today of all days... to remind me how sad I'm supposed to be feeling? Why, that's great! Really! Thanks a lot! My father was right. What could I possibly get out of going to school? Hanging out with you people is a total waste of time! And Chloé, you're still the same spoiled brat you ever were, you know that?
~ Félix, disguised as Adrien, sending an insulting reply to his friends' message to him.
Félix: Oh well, it's too easy. Where's the fun? You want real? I'll show you real.
Reflekta: It's time for punishment, naughty boy.
Félix: Be careful what you wish for, naughty girls.
~ Félix engaging the Punishers Trio.
Félix: Ladybug! Wait. I... I've always been in love with you, you know.
Ladybug: Huh? I...really?
Félix: If only you would... let me. Give you some courage before you go.
~ Félix attempting to force himself on Ladybug.
Félix: What makes you think I want it to be over? Hawk Moth! Can you hear me, Hawk Moth? You want Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous, don't you?
Lady Wifi: And what do you want?
Félix: I'm after a piece of jewelry, too. How about we make a little exchange?
~ Félix trying to get Hawk Moth's attention.
You've got yourself a deal. Now I think it's high time Ladybug and Cat Noir were punished.
~ Félix teaming up with the Punishers Trio against Ladybug and Cat Noir.
I don't deserve to be forgiven, mom. I put my favorite cousin in danger. He's right. No apology can ever be enough. I just hope I can learn from this, and come back to see you as a better person someday. I really am sorry. I'll do my best to make it up to you. And to you, too, uncle.
~ Félix falsely apologizing to Adrien and Gabriel.

Season 4[]

Senti Gabriel: What are you looking for, Félix?
Félix: You. I'd like to get to know you better, uncle.
Senti Gabriel: It's true. You don't know me very well at all, otherwise you wouldn't have given me a fake ring. Where did you put the real ring? The one that belongs to my wife?
Félix: In a safe place.
Senti Gabriel: Wherever it is, you're going to give it back to me.
Félix: How do you plan to make me do that, by using your powers... Shadow Moth?
~ Félix accusing his uncle of being Shadow Moth.
Shadow Moth: Félix, I am Shadow Moth. You've put yourself in an unfortunate situation by trying to defy someone stronger than you. But I can give you the power to escape Gabriel Agreste. All I ask in return are Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous.
Félix: This is impossible! I'm not mistaken. You are wearing a Miraculous. Those jewels are underneath your scarf, the brooches!
Senti Gabriel: Brooches? What are you talking about?
Shadow Moth: You really think that Gabriel Agreste could be Shadow Moth? He doesn't have what it takes! And neither do you. Accept the power I'm offering you!
Félix: I'm not afraid of your threats, and I don't need your power!
~ Félix rejecting Shadow Moth's Akumatization and fleeing.
Félix: Hi there, my favorite cousin.
Adrien: How did you get in?
Félix: [Imitating Adrien] Oh, Nathalie! There was a problem with the car so I walked home but I forgot my keys!
Adrien: That's not how I talk!
Félix: You're right, you sound even more pathetic!
~ Félix reuniting with Adrien.
Félix: I know, and that's why the second I saw your face on TV this morning, I left London to get you out of this mess. Freedom is something you make Adrien. For starters, you gotta stop doing everything your father tells you to.
Adrien: I can't disobey him.
Félix: You can't, but I can. Remember how we pretend to be each other when we were little? We're gonna do the same thing. Because unlike you, I can say no to your father.
Adrien: I know my father. He'll never give in.
Félix: Or maybe your fear keeps you from seeing a hidden side of him? If I succeed, you get to go back to your school and your super nice friends tomorrow. So? Do you want to take that risk and try it?
~ Félix offering his assistance to Adrien.
I know you've got a secret, uncle. Nothing will stop me from finding out what you're hiding this time!
~ Félix beginning to investigate Gabriel.
I knew it! Shadow Moth...
~ Félix discovering the fake Butterfly and Peacock Miraculous in his uncle's safe.
You're right, Nathalie. You have to seize the opportunity when it presents itself to you.
~ Félix, disguised as Adrien, speaking to Nathalie.
Marinette: Thanks again, Adrien. I'll take you back to the train.
Félix: I don't wanna get back on that train. I wanna stay and fight with you.
Marinette: What about your trip? Are you going to stand up to your father?
Félix: Yes. You've given me the courage I need, Ladybug. I feel like from now on, nothing can stop me.
~ Félix speaking to Marinette - also foreshadowing his intentions for the Miraculous.
Ladybug did indeed make a mistake...uncle.
~ Flairmidable revealing himself to Gabriel.
Gabriel: What do you want, Félix?
Flairmidable: I want the
real Peacock Miraculous. And you're going to give it to me.
Gabriel: I don't know what you're talking about.
Flairmidable: Do you want me to tell Adrien about the secret code on the painting? Then, give me what I ask for, and I'll give you something better in exchange.
Gabriel: Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous?
Flairmidable: No. All the
other Miraculous. And this. I won't be needing it anymore. As long as Ladybug hasn't de-transformed, I only have to say one word and her yo-yo, the magic portal to the Miraculous, will be yours. Make up your mind, time is ticking.
Gabriel: How do I know that you won't use the Peacock Miraculous against us?
Flairmidable: If I wanted to harm you, uncle, I would've done it a
long time ago.

(After deeply thinking for a moment, Gabriel removes his ascot tie, revealing the Butterfly and real Peacock Miraculous worn on his chest. Duusu flies out of the Peacock and beside Gabriel)
Gabriel: Duusu, I renounce you.
(Duusu disappears, he places the Peacock Miraculous on the table As they both place their jewels to trade on the table, the two glare at one another and eventually swap quickly, so they won't be cheated once again. Gabriel wears the ring and Flairmidable grabs the Peacock Miraculous)
Flairmidable: Fetch!
(The ball flies into Adrien's room, coming in contact with Ladybug's yo-yo and absorbs it. The ball returns to Flairmidable along with the yo-yo. He opens it as Gabriel quickly, and joyfully, takes hold of it)
Gabriel: (overjoyed) Ah! You've lost, Ladybug! FINALLY!
(Gabriel triumphantly grabs every Miraculous inside Ladybug's yo-yo and places them on the table one by one while laughing maniacally)
Gabriel: My greatest wish will finally come TRUE!
(Gabriel continues to marvel at all the Miraculous scattered on the table)
Flairmidable: Lay down.
(Flairmidable de-transforms into Félix. Barkk flies beside Felix)
Félix: Barkk, I renounce you.
(Barkk disappears as Félix places the Dog Miraculous alongside the others on the table as a bonus and leaves the room, leaving a triumphant Gabriel alone)

~ Flairmidable offering to exchange the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses and Gabriel's wedding ring for the Peacock Miraculous.

Season 5[]

Duusu: Ah? Where's Natalie? Are you my new holder?
Félix: Oh, I am much
more than that, Duusu.
~ Félix meeting Duusu.
Please excuse my tardiness, Ms. Tsurugi-san. For my first time as king of the ball it is a great honor to have your wonderful daughter as my queen.
~ Félix (disguised as Adrien) greeting Tomoe Tsurugi at the Diamond's Dance and about to kiss Kagami's hand before noticing her ring and become shocked.
It is admirable of you, my queen.
~ Félix (disguised as Adrien) complimenting Kagami when she decides to shut her feelings for Adrien for Marinette's sake.
Félix: Let's leave, I dare you.

Kagami: Are you insane? We can't do that.
Félix:(smirks) Of course we can. I can.
Kagami: (gasp, surprised) You'd do that?
Félix: Wanna bet?
Kagami: No, we can't.

~ Félix (disguised as Adrien) trying to convince Kagami to escape from the Diamond's Dance with him, which impressed Kagami but then she declined.
See? You're not as free as you claim. Don't you think we should be able to decide our future?
~ Félix (disguised as Adrien) speaking to Kagami.
Adrien: All eyes are on you.
Marinette: They're looking at me like I'm a monster.
Adrien: Look closer, Marinette.
They're the monsters.
Marinette: You're
not Adrien! (Félix smirks) Félix! Where's Adrien?! What did you do to him?!
~ Félix speaking to Marinette while dancing with her and inadvertly exposing his true identity.
Let the Moon rise! Ha ha ha! You are all at my mercy. The Red Moon gives me the power to wipe out anyone who's been bathed in it's light with the snap of my fingers.
~ Argos explaining Red Moon's powers.
Argos: Good evening, uncle! You can call me Argos now.
Gabriel: How dare you! I will never allow you to—
Argos: Oh I think you will, uncle. It's time for someone to finally put an end to your endless trying to control people—Adrien, my mother,
me—and turn us into whatever you want us to be! I'm freeing us from you!
~ Argos snapping Gabriel away.
Rejoice, Kagami. Now you're truly free.
~ Argos after snapping away Tomoe Tsurugi.
Adrien is the last person I'd wanna hurt, Marinette. I care about him, and he's lucky to have you. Stay here and keep safe.
~ Argos speaking about Adrien to Marinette, and leaving her inside a dumpster.
♫Oohhh, bah! bah! bah! bah! What the eye can see ain't all that matters. All's not gold, that glitters. Everything I want should be mine forever! At the snap of my fingers. Light I fly like a butterfly. Rising high, to the sky! From up here, I look down to Earth. Snapping my fingers! Buh ba ruh bah ba dubadubub bah badabada pa pa pa-dum. At the snap of my fingers.♫
~ Argos singing "Snapping my fingers".
Ladybug. Good. Now we just need to wait for Cat Noir and then you'll both give me your Miraculous.
~ Argos revealing his intention to use the Miraculous.
Ladybug: So that's it then! You're working for Monarch! You're the reason why I lost the other miraculouses in the first place! And why he took them! You gave them to him without any regard for the consequences it might have with the people of Paris!
Argos: True, except I work for
no one. I only helped Monarch because it served MY plans! I needed the Peacock Miraculous, and today I need yours and Cat Noir's so I can make my wish!
~ Argos while fighting Ladybug about his betrayal of handing the Chinese Zodiac Miraculous to Monarch in “Strikeback” and making it clear he isn't an ally of Monarch.
Ladybug: You're no better than Monarch if you use the same methods he does! I'll never give you my Miraculous.
Argos: Then I'll do without it! If you don't let me recreate the world, I'll use my own power to transform it! I'll just snap my fingers until there's no one left!
Ladybug: I won't let you do this!
Argos: And how do you intend to stop me? By now, the whole world's been bathed in the light of the Red Moon. You don't know what object controls my sentimonster, or where it is! If you try anything, I'll snap my fingers. You've lost, Ladybug.
~ Argos declaring victory over Ladybug.
For weeks I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to set you free. To set you both free. To set us all free! And offer us a new world where no one can tell us what we can or can't do! And voilà! We're free! And we're together! Aren't you incredibly happy?
~ Argos explaining his actions to Adrien and Kagami.
What's there not to like? What's the problem? I thought you wanted to be freed from your parents? Look, isn't this great? Just the three of us! We have everything we need to be happy!
~ Argos confused about Adrien and Kagami's opposition to his plan.
Argos: Ta-da! Huh? That's weird. (snaps his fingers twice) Huh?! I don't understand! She should come back! Something's wrong! I can usually bring back whoever I want, but it's like she's no where! Like she's completely gone! I'm sorry, Adrien!
Kagami: Sorry? You're sorry?!
Adrien: You're not even control of your own power! Don't you realize what you've done? Bring everyone back! Now!
Argos: Okay, okay, alright. I never meant to hurt you two.
~ Argos becoming horrified when it seems he's unable to reappear Marinette and apologetically complying with Adrien and Kagami's demands to restore all people.
My friend, I've made a terrible mistake. I shouldnt've created you out of so much anger. Your power is terrible. What would've happened if I lost control? Can you forgive me, my friend, my sister...? I release you from existence.
~ Argos reluctantly releasing Red Moon from existence.
Amelie: You were right: I did everything you told me to and Gabriel didn't do or say anything to help me. He despises me. He's a monster! They're all monsters!
Argos: Hold my feathers
(detransforms back into Félix and hugs Amelie), Not all of them.
~ Félix comforting his mother after Gabriel throws her from his party and commenting that not everyone close to him are monsters.

gs: Hold backher. (Hnsfsorms ins to hug Amelie, surprising her)

Not all of them. (smiles)
No one should have to endure such words..
~ Argos mad when Tomoe criticzed Kagami for not controlling her emotions before separating them.
Stop!, I'm not your enemy, I just want to talk with you!
~ Argos detransforming and stopping Kagami from attacking him, reassuring her he doesn't want to hurt her.
Felix: I.. I don't know, but ever since I saw you I haven't been able to stop thinking about you, I felt that you and I ... we're the same! We have so much in common, and yet you're also so different, I've never met someone like you.
Kagami: We don't even know each other!
Felix:
I know you, I've been following you non-stop and I...
Kagami: Even better, you follow me, you spy on me and now you've kidnapped me, so you could get to know me?
Felix: Uhhhh, Yes..?
Kagami: You are utterly incompetent at social relations. You
can't take someone away against their will.
~ Félix awkwardly tells Kagami he was following her to get to know her better, only for Kagami to call him out on his lack in social skills.
Sorry... I won't do it again! I just wanted to protect you from your mother, she can't talk to you like this.
~ Félix apologizes to Kagami for kidnapping her and telling her his motives for doing so.
Kagami: You know, if you leave me here, my mother will calm down and stop attacking you.
Argos: I'm not here to return you to your mother, but to set you free from her.
~ Argos refusing to abandon Kagami to her akumatized mother when she suggested it to save himself.
Kagami: My mother pretends to come to my rescue... and then shoots arrows at me?
Argos: And you've never met my father, he was a thousand times worse.
~ Argos escaping with Kagami from her akumatized mother while telling her about his late father, who points out that he was worse than Kagami's mother.
Fighting is no longer my priority, all I care about is your safety.
~ Argos when Kagami questions him about breaking his hand fan to distract Matagi Gozen.
First of all, don't call them that... I refuse to create a being only to manipulate them, control them, abuse them... and end up destroying them.
~ Félix explaining to Kagami why he won’t create a sentimonster to help them and also asking to stop calling them "Monsters".
Félix:When you bring a living being into this world, you have a responsibility towards them, your duty is to protect them, love them, help them and discover their own meaning to their existence... To deprive them of that... is monstrous
Kagami: Are you talking about
yourself?
Félix: I'm talking about us.
~ Félix expressing his empathy towards sentibeings to Kagami and also implying he and Kagami are sentibeings too.
Felix: The ring you gave your mother was a fake, this is the real one.

Kagami: How is this possible?
Felix: The last of the Tsurugi's isn't your mother, it's you! The rules of your family no longer have to be those created by your ancestors, from now on they're yours to make.

~ Félix returning Kagami her real ring while telling her that her mother was given a fake and that she's now free to make her own decisions.
What if it's not really her?
~ Argos questioning Kagami's claim of Marinette being Ladybug.
The reason we're doing this Duusu is because we're hoping for a happy ending.
~ Félix reassuring Duusu when she feels sorry at seeing Marinette crying in heartbreak.
Will she have the courage to face the father of the boy she loves?
~ Argos to Kagami after revealing Marinette the truth about Gabriel.

Trivia[]

  • Before the creation of the series, Félix was originally conceived by Thomas Astruc as Marinette's love interest and the alter-ego of Cat Noir (as seen in the Ladybug PV), although he would eventually be dropped and replaced by Adrien because he came across as an "anime cliche" and his dynamic with Ladybug was deemed not convincing. Astruc would later consider bringing him back to the series, but eventually scrapped the idea and claimed that he would never appear. Regardless, he would eventually return, depicted as being Adrien's cousin with almost no resemblance to his original character.
    • Despite being a radically different character, Félix's more negative traits from his original depiction seem to have carried over into his appearance in the series, given his hostility towards Adrien's friends and his attempt to force Ladybug to kiss him; similar to how, in the original concept, he was less friendly and openly dismissive of Marinette's affections, and wanted Ladybug to kiss him to remove his ring and the bad luck curse attached to it.
  • Félix's name was inspired by the Latin meaning of the word, which is happy/lucky.
    • His superhero identity, Flairmidable, is a portmanteau of the words "flair" and "formidable". It is so far the only Miraculous holder name that is not a reference to the animal his Miraculous represents.
    • His supervillain identity, Argos, is a reference to the Greek mythological creature of the same name, a multi-eyed giant who had his eyes placed on a peacock's tail by Hera after his death.
  • Prior to the events of "Representation", a popular fan theory suggested that both Félix and Adrien are Sentimonsters, which was ultimately proven true. This reveal was implied multiple times throughout the series:
    • Félix receives a self-titled episode in his first appearance. Although he was initially believed to be the only character that is not a Miraculous holder, an Akumatized villain, or a Sentimonster to have this distinction, it can now be considered a subtle hint to Félix's true nature.
    • Across multiple episodes, Félix shows both an understanding of and obsession with the Peacock Miraculous. When he finally receives it in "Strikeback", he is shown holding it affectionately.
    • In "Gabriel Agreste", Sentimonster Gabriel threatens to destroy Félix with a snap of his fingers, a threat he takes quite seriously.
    • Félix repeatedly shows a deep empathy for Sentimonsters, apologizing to Strikeback after it is dropped into the sun, and later referring to Red Moon as his sister; breaking down in tears when he is forced to destroy her. In "Pretension", he takes offense to Sentimonsters being called "monsters", and declares that he will not create a being just to control and abuse them.
      • Although the theory about Félix and Adrien being Sentimonster was proven correct, it also assumed that both their Amoks were in the Graham de Vanily Twin Rings, because of Félix's interest in reclaiming them. This was proven not to be the case, as Félix's Amok was placed inside of his father's ring, and his only interest in gaining the Twin Rings was to free Adrien and gain leverage on Gabriel.
  • Although not directly stated, it is implied that Félix's plan in his titular episode was to deliberately cause strife among Adrien's friends so that they would be Akumatized and come after him; thus, he would be able to contact Hawk Moth and make a deal with him to acquire the Graham de Vanily Twin Rings.
  • Félix is the second character in the series to know that Gabriel Agreste is Hawk Moth/Shadow Moth, the first being Nathalie Sancoeur.
  • As shown in "Multiplication", Félix has his own "Wikipage" article (a reference to Wikipedia). The article in question contains several references to the Miraculous Ladybug Wiki; using the same header image for Félix that the Miraculous Wiki used when "Multiplication" was still in production, and featuring an identical family tree structure.
  • Despite insisting that he doesn't work for Monarch, Argos' plan in "Emotion" ironically resembles that of many of Monarch's Akumatized villains; including The Bubbler (who wanted to remove all adults from the world so children could be free), Robustus (who wanted to use Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous to wish away humanity), Syren (who wanted to create a perfect world for herself and Kim), and Safari (who also wanted to stop Gabriel's plans by remaking the world before he could).
