Armadillo Monster (アルマジロモンスター Arumajiro Monsutā) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Gavan who appears in episode 11. It is an armadillo-like BEM Kaiju.
It was voiced by late Toku Nishio.
Biography[]
When Retsu is driving away from Makuu with a blue truck after he fell for their trap, the Armadillo Monster is shown to have waiting for him inside and then attempt to drag him down to die with it, meaning that it almost got themselves involved in a truck crash as it drives onto the ledge and exploded. But luckily, Retsu managed to survive from the crash and transform into Gavan.
After Retsu escaped from getting blown up along with his father Voicer's spaceship and transform into Gavan, the monster attempt to hold him off so he could get killed by a Double Man, but Gavan managed to let go of its grip. The monster then fires an explosive flashes at Gavan but only for it and the Double Man to get attacked by Gavan's Silver Beam. After they were dragged into Makuu Space, the monster continued to fought against Gavan along with Double Man before Gavan fired a Laser Z Beam at it. As the monster grew into large size, Gavan had to call upon Dol to finish it off.
