The Armament Army is one of the Four Armies of the Neros Empire and major antagonists in Choujinki Metalder. They are comprised of arsenal robots themed after military vehicles. They are usually used to provide heavy support to the other armies. They are led by Victorious Saint Dranger.
History[]
After Coolgin seemingly destroyed Metalder, Barbery of the Armament Army was sent in to confirm the kill. While surveying the area for Metalder's remains, Barbery noticed Metalder driving past and discovered he was still alive. After failing to destroy Metalder and being damaged in the process, Barbery was brought back to the Ghost Bank where God Neros ordered that he be repaired, as he played a vital role in the Neros forces due to his capability to perform aerial reconnaissance.
On the birthday of God Neros, each Army put forth a chosen fighter to destroy Metalder. The Armament Army selected their Violent Spirit Agmis, who teamed up with Chuubo of the Yoroi Army to carry out the mission. Following Gamadone's death at Metalder's hands, Agmis attempted a suicide bomb on Metalder but Metalder survived.
The Armament Army later provided support to the Battle Robot Army when they went to capture Bigwayne after he deserted the Army.
After Metalder and his allies discovered God Neros' identity as Gozo Kirihara, the Armament Army was sent outside the Ghost Bank by God Neros. Following the Ghost Bank's destruction, the Armament Army appeared to confront Metalder and Top Gunder after they escaped through the Ghost Bank's last remaining gate. The Armament Army fought hard but in the end was defeated by the two androids, becoming the third of the Four Armies to fall after the Monster and Yoroi Armies.
