The Armed Brain Army Volt (in Japanese: 武装頭脳軍ボルト) are a cabal of scientists seeking to dominate the world and exterminate those with "inferior minds" to create an ideal world for their superior genius. They are based out of the Zuno Base space station, and use triangular ships to travel between it and Earth.
It is eventually revealed that the true purpose of the organization is to help its leader, Great Professor Bias, achieve immortality by completing the Giga Brain Wave and allowing him to rule over humanity.
History
Volt was founded by Bias as a front for his ambitions to complete the Giga Brain Wave from the minds of 12 people with IQs of over 1,000 and obtain immortality. To accomplish this, Bias recruited three Academia students into his organization, Kenji Tsugikata, Rui Senda and Goh Omura with the vision of a world where those with the highest intelligence rule over all.
