Luna Armonia and Soris Armonia are minor antagonists of the manga New Mobile Report Gundam Wing Dual Story: G-Unit. They were the loyal subordinates of Valder Farkill, and were originally trained to pilots the two of the five Gundams from the space colonies respectively, but the Gundam were taken by the protagonists of Gundam Wing instead, thus they were left without a purpose, until Valder took them under his wing.
Personality[]
Both Luna and Soris are furiously loyal to Valder out of gratitude of him giving them a purpose, since they find out that after all those trainings to be Gundam pilots, they are unable to return to the normal society. Thus, they are perfectly willing to do anything for Valder, even willing to die for him.
However, Luna is shown to be softer then Soris, as she is more willing to communicate with Odin then Soris, who outright scolded him for badmouthing Valder. Luna is even shown to be briefly remorseful over that fact the she is spying on them. And both of them were heartbroken when Valder revealed that he is perfectly willing to discard them should they no longer serve any purpose.
Since they later survived and even witnessed the wedding of Odel and Tricia, it is possible that they returned to the normal society.
History[]
Originally a pair of sisters chosen by the space colonies to become Gundam pilots to fight against the Earth Union, both Luna and Soris went through hellish training since childhood, however l after their training completed, they were not chosen to be Gundam pilots. While the sisters tried to return to normal society, they were unable to adopt to citizen lifestyles. However, eventually Valder Farkill find them and took them under his wing, out of gratitude, Luna and Soris sweared loyalty towards him.
During the event of the manga, after Silver Crown revealed his true identity as Odel and defect back to MO-V, Valder sent Luna Armonia to infiltrate the MO-V and stole the Gundam Griepe under the disguise of a citizen in a space shuttle. Odin took her to the MO-V’s medical bay, after exchanging each other’s name, Odel took her for a trip at MO-V, even introducing her to the Gundam Griepe. However, she was recognised by Alyssa Walker who warned Roche Nattono about it, who in terms told Odin about Luna’s true identity. Thus, at night when Luna sneaked out to stole the Gundam, Odin was already waiting for her in the cockpit. However, Luna managed to distract them by detonating explosives she has rigged, and threatened to detonate more if Odin didn’t pilot the Gundam Griepe out. Thus, now forced out, Odin soon encountered Soris Armonia in the Vayeate Suivant along with the Mercurius Suivant which is remote controlled by Luna. Their combined effort successfully captured Odin, and he and the Gundam Griepe were taken to the Grand Chario. Odin was locked up with Luna guarding, who later explained their backstory to him.
Eventually, Roche volunteered to pilot the Gundam L.O. Booster to rescue Odin, and swiftly defeated Kratz Silvy. Thus, Luna and Soris were sent to combat Roche. At the same time, due to wanting to see Gundam Griepe in action, Dr. Berg released Odin who piloted the Gundam Griepe to help Roche to fight Luna and Soris in the Vayeate Suivant and Mercurius Suivant. This time, with help from Roche, the formation of Luna and Soris were broken and cornered them at gun point, but before anything could happen, Valder, seeing that Luna and Soris had outlived their usefulness, opened the Grand Chario’s main cannon fire to all four of them, while Odin and Roche dodged, the Vayeate Suivant and Mercurius Suivant we’re caught in the blast, seemingly vaporising Luna and Soris in the process.
However, they miraculously survived the destruction of their Mobile Suits, and showed up to witness of the wedding of Odel and Tricia, heavily implying that they managed to return to normal society.
