The Armored Darkness is a sentient suit of armor created by Alien Empera to carry out his destructive legacy should he be killed. It is the main antagonist of Ultraman Mebius Gaiden: Armor of Darkness.

Ultraman Mebius Gaiden: Armor of Darkness[]
After Empera's death, the Armored Darkness was activated to carry out the Emperor's contingency plan. Ultraman King noticed this and sent Ultraman Hikari to destroy the Armor before it could reach Earth, but the armor overpowered and possessed Hikari.
Upon his arrival, the Armored Darkness revived Saramandora, Roberuga, Mukadender and Cherubim. GUYS arrived to deal with the monsters, but the Armored Darkness teleported the current captain of GUYS, Ryu, and his subordinate to the Dark Zone. Mebius showed up to rescue them and fight the Armored Darkness, but the dark armor overpowered Mebius. However, Hikari's spirit halted the Armor before it could kill Mebius. Mebius then stabbed the Armored Darkness in the head with its sword.
Mebius and Ryu then regrouped with the original members of GUYS. The Armored Darkness soon reawakened and continued its assault. Ryu flew his plane into the Armored Darkness' head wound, destroying the Armored Darkness and freeing Hikari.
However, the Armored Darkness was rebuilt by the Dark Zone soon after. The two Ultras then fought the Dark Armor, combining together with the members of GUYS to form Ultraman Mebius Phoenix Brave Mode. Mebius then overpowered the Armored Darkness and destroyed it with a Mebium-Knight shot.
Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey[]
Armored Darkness appears in this series an enforcer of Alien Reiblood. The Dark Armor was sent by Reiblood to kill Ultraseven. The battle ended with the Armored Darkness triumphing over the Ultra and possessing him, as well as Alien Temperor and Alien Mefilas.
The Armored Darkness then used them to fight against Rei and his monsters, Litra and Gomora. However, Rei used Ultraseven's Eye Slugger to awaken Ultraseven and weaken the Armor, allowing Gomora to destroy it.
The Armored Darkness was later revived and possessed by Alien Reiblood in the finale. The Armored Darkness attempted to kill Rei and Gomora until Grande and Red King arrived to assist them in battle, and the Armored Darkness was eventually destroyed by EX Gomora and EX Red King.
