The Army of Faith is a dangerous terrorist group that act as the villains in the 13th mission of a video game SWAT 4.
Description[]
The Army of Faith is a militant group that have existed for two long years (before the events of SWAT 4) and they have been known in the past for bombing research facilities that were actively involved in stem cell technology. Additionally, they have sent many death threats to many professors and doctors involved in such research.
They may seem like a lunatic and absurd in their goals and aspirations, but as the group, they are also astonishingly well-armed, well-trained and dedicated to their cause. Various other institutions in the past had also fallen victim to the Army of Faith after receiving threats from the militant group. Additionally, their leader Jean Trouffant has been known in planting bombs in abortion clinics.
The reason they attacked the Mount Threshold Hologen Research Center is because they are active in DNA cloning research. And some of the students say to the SWAT officers that they have received death threats from Army of Faith for couple of weeks.
The End Of The Group[]
On May 21, 2008 at 00:45, the SWAT team enters Mount Threshold Hologen Research Center to arrest or eventually kill Jean Trouffant and all Army of Faith members and save the hostages. Inside the building, the officers see one big massacre with many wounded students, as well as extremely aggressive members of Army of Faith who won't stop until their demands are met, which means they would die for their cause to be martyrs and they are willing to turn everyone in the research lab as well. The officers had to look for the Professor Sturgeon's briefcase which had contacts for other researchers around the world. In the Army of Faith’s hands, those documents would become an open season list. The plot ultimately failed when SWAT neutralized Jean Trouffant and terrorists, found the briefcase, and freed the hostages, effectively bringing an end to the group.
