~ Arnie at the beginning of round two of the Arena

Arnie is a minor character in the Ukrainian FPS Survival Horror video game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow Of Chernobyl.

Arnie is the owner of the Arena at the Bar location of Duty's territory.

Personality[]

Arnie is a nice and charismatic yet sadistic and cruel person. He is the owner of the Arena where people fight to death for his and public's amusement. He openly despises the rookies who participates in the fight, calling them "pieces of meat" and "pussies", going as far as sadistically suggesting to kill one of the arena mercs because the latter was killing too quickly, and the audience doesn't like it. Not only that, he completely disregards those who had been killed during the fights, taunting that their bodies would been feed by dogs.

Arnie introduce the opponent in the first fight, saying that he is in big debt and will do anything to pay them off, which suggests that Arnie is a opportunist, who manipulates people to his advantage. Arnie also appears as a tricky individual who loves to put people in nearly fatal dead-end situation, as he effectively, puts Mechenyj in danger by leaving to fight with a knife against a fully armed man.

However, Arnie seems to respect those who were able to fight through the arena. He calls Mechenyj a "pro" and praises him for finishing the last challenge.

Appearance[]

Arnie is a man in his early 40s with white stubble facial hair wears a widely-used among Loners Sunrise Suit, consisting of light military bulletproof vest and a jumpsuit made out of rubberized fabric with the gasmask on his chest. It is reinforced with inserted kevlar plates and provides low levels of protection.

The player can fight in the arena up to 8 rounds, in which he will subjected to battle different enemies from captured criminals to fully armed soldiers.

After finishing all the rounds at the Arena, Arnie will praise Mechenyj, and will refuse to let him fight further, because he is already a "pro".
