| ~ Arondil to the Dragonborn (only if the Dragonborn is female) |
| “ | I have ordered my older servants to go out and find any more subjects that may have become lost. With the discovery of the inner sanctum deeper still within Yngvild, I should have sufficient room to store many new materials until I can transform them into willing slaves. I look back on my daydreams whilst living in Dawnstar and wonder if they were in fact portents of times to come... | „ |
| ~ Arondil on his last journal. |
Arondil is a minor antagonist in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, being the main antagonist in the quest "Toying With The Dead". He is a perverted necromancer that previously stalked the milkmaids of Dawnstar but was eventually kicked out due to people feeling repulsed by his necromantic experiments. However, Arondil would soon figure out a way to have both the milkmaids and draugr all to himself as sex slaves via enslaving their souls after killing them and bringing them back to life, creating his own harem where they would submit to his every deed so long as he enslaved their souls.
He is voiced by Neil Dickson.
Biography[]
Arondil is an Altmer that lived in Dawnstar, where he lusted towards the milkmaids of the city, but was kicked out because the people of the city discovered his necromantic experiments. After that, he settled in Yngvild to practice and learn more of the abilities of necromancy.
In there, he would use his abilities to reanimate all the people who were in the burial chambers of the place, making them do any of his commands, like guard the place and be his personal entourage.
Even with them, he still had thoughts of the Milkmaids that he watched in Dawnstar; but one day, some of his draugr caught an intruder who was one of the Milkmaids of the city who started saying how she remembered him, stating how he lurked near her at all hours. This angered him so much that he made his servants kill her. After this, he used his necromancy on her, but this time he reanimated her spirit as his slave, something that gave him an idea. He will now make his undead servants kill any girl who will get close to his place, so he can reanimate them as those spirits.
The Dragonborn meets him after getting a quest by Vekel the Man, who sent them to obtain 4 journal books of Arondil because they had a buyer who had weird interests that can only be satisfied by the work of a madman. When they get inside, the Dragonborn fights the enslaved spirits and draugr of Arondil, while also getting the journals that were there. After a lot of fights, they would finally fight Arondil, ending with him dying. But if Dragonborn instead sneaks towards the soul gem that was nearby and steals it, the spirit guarding next to Arondil will kill him.

Trivia[]
- If the soul gem was taken off the pedestal and the ghost kills him, and then he is resurrected as a Dead Thrall, Arondil will use his unique dialogue about the soul gem whenever in battle.
