Arthur (last name unknown) is a crime boss who acted as a "silent partner" for Molly's. He was a minor antagonist in Season 1 and the first half of Season 2 of Chicago Fire.
A Little Taste[]
He first appears where he offers to help the firefighters with their new bar.
Nazdarovya![]
Arthur is interviewed by Herrmann and Otis about the negotiations of investments, explaining that he isn't entitled to the profits of the bar. Arthur plays it cool, though Herrmann quietly feels something off about him. Much later, Arthur got word from the building inspector will not approve of the bar and decides to "persuade" him otherwise. Arthur and the inspector come to the bar, where the inspector approves but the firefighters suspect something after seeing the man walk with a limp.
Defcon 1[]
Arthur stops by Molly's looking for his cut and wanting to revise their partnership for more profit. Both Herrmann and Gabby refuse his request, as Arthur knows all about their expenses and profits for he had a spy who turns out to be Jay Halstead.
A Nuisance Call[]
It is revealed by Antonio Dawson, Gabby's brother that Jay is actually a detective undercover to bust Arthur who has been on the CPD's radar for a while.
A Power Move[]
He and Jay come to Molly's to get his money but finds it shorter than usual and he flies into a rage and threatens to cough up or they'll be trouble. Much later, Arthur realizes the reason for the low profit is because of the competing bar Game Day and proceeds to set it on fire. This was seen by the firefighters at Molly's who were horrified.
Joyriding[]
Arthur's actions on Molly's caused suspicion to fall of arson to fall on Molly's, as the CPD had looked into their complaints the bar has had. However, the firefighters denied they had any role. Herrmann and Otis correctly suspect Arthur and his supposed "lackey" Jay while the latter continues harassing the firefighters about their payments. Much later, Gabby confronts Jay on how long he needs to bust Arthur and he revealed he gathered enough evidence and he needs to catch Arthur in the act and it's over. With that, Gabby informs Herrmann and Otis that Jay is actually a cop who was undercover to bust him and that he informed her that he needs Arthur provoked to bust him.
Near the end, he enters Molly's with Jay and another goon while still unaware that Jay is a cop. Arthur demands his money but Gabby refuses and things get ugly when Arthur starts to slowly get violent by taking out a bottle while admitting to starting the fire that consumed Game Day and how the staff weren't "cooperative" like her. He threw a bottle of alcohol on the counter and takes out a lighter and sets it ablaze, but this spurs Jay into action and having heard as well seen enough, he reveals he's a cop. Realizing he confessed, Arthur moves to kill all those present but Jay subdues his other henchman and attacks Arthur who shoots him in the shoulder. Regaining composure, he moves to shoot Gabby though Jay regains footing and places his gun to Arthur's head and demands he drop the weapon and he complies, before he is pistol whipped and knocked unconscious. Jay then has Arthur's remaining man surrender and calls in back-up. Both Arthur and his goon are arrested while the firefighters are pleased to rid of him.
He is ultimately incarcerated for his crimes of arson, assault, attempted murder, and extortion.
