Arthur Blisterman is the main antagonist of the CSI: Las Vegas episode "Art Imitates Life".

He was portrayed by Ritchie Coster, who also portrayed Mark Bruner in Law & Order, Carlo Parisi in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Dietrich Banning in The Tuxedo, The Chechen in The Dark Knight, and Pope in The Walking Dead.

Biography

Little is known about his past, but he was once an artist applying for a competition, but got rejected multiple times. The competition was about making sculptures around the city, Arthur had made six sketches to present but decided to kill real people and turn them into statues after being rejected.

His first victim was a woman with her arm around a lamppost. Later, he killed a jogger and posed him in a bus stop. His third victim was a homeless man which he dressed up in a business suit and made him look like he was calling for a taxi. The detectives then realize all the murders are connected and he is kidnapping them and posing them in a gas chamber, where he then kills them with Carbon monoxide. Later in a forest, a man discovers an old couple frozen while birdwatching. The detectives later discover an online blog where Arthur is posting about his murders. After questioning the artist Arthur proposed to they find his sketches for the competition and are shocked to see a young boy on a bike on his last sketch.

The detectives trace the killer to a library and apprehend him. While questioned he refuses to tell the police where the boy is, stating that his piece is incomplete without him. The detectives track a substance he was using to a nearby warehouse, where the gas chamber is discovered and the boy is rescued.

This is Ritchie Coster's second role playing a serial killer, after Mark Bruner from Law & Order.
