Arturo Colon is a supporting antagonist in the crime drama series Better Call Saul. He is a top lieutenant of Hector Salamanca who usually works with Nacho Varga.
He was portrayed by Vincent Fuentes.
History[]
Season 2[]
Arturo waits for Mike Ehrmantraut on his front doorstep and tells him Hector wants an answer to the incident with Tuco Salamanca. After Mike declines, Arturo leaves. That night, Arturo and another henchman enter the house when Mike left and wait for him. Mike lures them to him by turning on the TV and ambushes them, knocking the other henchman down with the door and pistol-whipping Arturo, who at gunpoint tells Mike that Hector wants him to take his $5000 bribe. Mike sends the two away.
Arturo is present during a meeting between Mike and Hector about the situation.
He is seen unloading something from the trunk of a car, and assists with cutting the tires of Ximenez Lecerda's truck because of the money.
Arturo is next seen inside the ice cream parlor where Hector and his crew have meetings. Hector scolds both Arturo and Nacho for the attack of one of his trucks.
Arturo oversees the killing of Ximenez Lecerda at the hands of The Cousins.
Season 3[]
Arturo and Nacho are seen flanking Hector at Los Pollos Hermanos as they intimidate customers.
At the Los Pollos Hermanos Factory Farm, Arturo and Nacho collect some bricks of cocaine from Victor and Tyrus Kitt. Then at El Michoacáno, Arturo informs Hector that Tuco has been placed in solitary for assaulting another prisoner and a guard. Hector has a coughing fit due to his anger, but Arturo gives him a cup of water, helping him recover.
Nacho and Arturo are next seen flanking Hector again, for a meeting with Gus Fring.
One night, Arturo and Carlos arrive at A-Z Upholstery and prevent Nacho from ambushing Hector. Arturo is present when Hector suffers a stroke.
Season 4[]
After Hector is driven to the hospital, Juan Bolsa tells Nacho and Arturo that the Salamanca Family will keep their territory and they will continue working.
The two later visit Hector in the hospital, where Arturo updates him on a turf dispute. That evening, they go to Los Pollos Hermanos Factory Farm for their next pickup. This time, Arturo decides they will collect six packets as before. When Victor only presents five bricks, Arturo insists on obtaining an extra one. Victor and Tyrus seemingly give in to his demand when Nacho cocks his gun. However, as Nacho and Arturo walk back to their car and the latter boasts about what they did, Gus attacks Arturo from behind, putting a plastic bag over his head and tying his hands and legs with assistance from Victor. Arturo suffocates to death as Gus forces Nacho to work for him.
Later, Arturo's body is taken to the desert and riddled with bullets by Victor and Tyrus, as part of a plot to stage an attack on Nacho and Arturo by the Espinosa Gang.
