Arturo Rey III is a supporting antagonist in Season 2 of the 2016-2018 Netflix Marvel Cinematic Universe series, Luke Cage. He was a drug dealer and member of the Diablos who attacked Luke Cage using Judas Bullets.
He was portrayed by Otto Sanchez who also voiced members of the Del Lobo Gang in Red Dead Redemption II.
Biography[]
Rey III was one of three potential buyers, including Cockroach Hamilton and Nigel Garrison, for the weapons of Mariah Dillard. Dillard ultimately decided to deal with Arturo and sold him a Hammer Industries Assault Rifle and Judas Bullets.
Arturo would also later blow up Cage's truck to kill him, but Cage managed to survive the explosion. Cage then confronted Rey III who then grabbed his Assault Rifle and shot Cage in the chest with a Judas Bullet. However, the Judas Bullet had no effect and Cage knocked out Rey III and took him to the police. He was put in an interrogation room but was eventually released by Benjamin Donovan.
After having been released, Rey III by Shades and Comanche who demanded the money he owed from buying the weapons from Dillard. However, Arturo refused to pay since the Assault Rifle didn't work and he also stated that he would no longer do business with the Stokes Crime Family. This greatly angered Shades who stood up to him and when Arturo started insulting Dillard in Spanish, Shades lost his temper and shot him in the forehead, killing him.
