Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe, or just simply known by her surname Ashe and sometimes nicknamed Calamity, is one of the playable heroes and a supporting antagonist of the 2016 game Overwatch.
She is the leader of the Deadlock Rebels a group of outlaws, terrorists, and bandits. She is also the main antagonist of the animated short "Reunion". She is Jesse McCree's / Cole Cassidy's former friend or even more, then turned archenemy.
She is voiced by Jennifer Hale, who also voiced Sedusa and Princess Morbucks from The Powerpuff Girls, Rojo from Ben 10, Black Knight from Generator Rex and Giganta in the DC Animated Universe.
History[]
Ashe grew up in a wealthy family, though her parents were often away and could never spend time with her leaving her under the care of the family's omnic butler B.O.B. she would constantly get into fights at school and in her teenage years would often be arrested. One day she met a young Jesse McCree and Ashe realized her true calling and her and McCree began dating also during that time mcree refounded the Deadlock Rebels and inv ashe in making her also one of the refounded members of the gang Though McCree was arrested and decided to reform, Ashe continued to be the gang's strong leader. Years after Overwatch's collapse Ashe and a few members of her gang including B.O.B. were robbing a military train carrying various weapons when McCree arrived having intercepted the train to secure one thing being held by the train: The android Echo who is one of Overwatch's agents, after having intercepted Winston's recall. After a huge shootout McCree subdued Ashe and her gang members secured Echo then rode off on Ashe's bike much to her annoyance when he rode past her on it.
