Ashley Spicer is the main antagonist of the pilot episode of Lifetime's The Protector.
She was portrayed by Christina Ulloa.
Ashley was the mistress of hedge fund manager Morgan Campbell, and was also engaged in a relationship with his teenage son Sam. Prior to the episode's events, Ashley learned that Morgan had lost millions as a result of bad investments, realizing that Morgan's wife Barbara would get the rest of Morgan's money. Not wanting to be cut off financially, Ashley conspired with Sam to steal money from Morgan. To do so, Ashley instructed the desperate Morgan to consult with a psychic she paid to send him to a specific church to have his money "blessed".
After Morgan took $300,000 from his personal account and went to the church, he was attacked by Ashley's hired henchman Curtis Moyers, who accidentally killed Morgan as he attempted to take his briefcase of money. After learning of Morgan's death, the evil Ashley shot Curtis to death to keep him from exposing her and Sam's plot. A remorseful Sam eventually confessed everything to Barbara, who in turn claimed she'd killed Morgan in an effort to protect her son.
Detective Gloria Sheppard uncovered Ashley's affair with Sam when, while at the Campbell house, she saw one of the matching handbags Morgan had bought for Barbara, Ashley, and his second mistress Kathleen Monroe. After recalling how Barbara had hers at the police station during her confession and finding that Kathleen had hers at her house, Gloria realized the truth and brought Ashley and Sam in for questioning. While Ashley was interrogated by detective Michelle Dulcett, Gloria talked with Sam, who eventually confessed to Ashley orchestrating his father's murder while tearfully stating that no one was supposed to get hurt. Meanwhile, Ashley attempted to deny everything and ask for a lawyer, only for Gloria to inform her that Sam turned her in. Ashley was then arrested (offscreen).
