Biography[]

Astaroth was a powerful demon that caused issues in the past until he was banished to the underworld by the heroic demon, Etrigan. Since then, Astaroth has been planning on escaping his imprisonment by finding an individual to help him. Astaroth found Jim Craddock and told him that if he got him 10 innocent souls, then Craddock will become immortal and it would also help Astaroth escape the underworld. Astaroth would meet with Craddock about the progress of their plans while Craddock would continue to steal the souls of innocents which would catch the attention of Sherlock Holmes and Batman.

After Craddock stole the tenth and final soul, Sherlock Holmes’ soul, he met with Astaroth in the underworld. Craddock told Astaroth to make him immortal to fulfill their deal. Astaroth made it where Craddock's soul will never leave the earth. Batman and Etrigan confronts Astaroth and Craddock which led to a fight. For a majority of the confrontation, Astaroth fought against Etrigan. The battle continued until Etrigan threw a cane that has iron into Astaroth's mouth causing the demon to disintegrate to dirt.
