~ Asuramaru expessing his superiority of Yu. |
Bearing manipulative thoughts like all demons, Asuramaru displays a sense of superiority, emphasizing his formidable might and the ease with which he could overpower Yu. In line with typical demon behavior, Asuramaru employs manipulative tactics, utilizing haunting nightmares to gradually seize control of his host's corporeal vessel.
Following the establishment of a pact with Yu, he consistently disrupts Yu's dreamscapes, inundating them with sights of Mika, questioning the rationale behind his perceived abandonment.
Asuramaru's role is that of a trusted adversary, known for his singular intent. He extends information to Yu, divulging the presence of non-human traits within him. Furthermore, he emphasizes Yu's virtuous attributes and discreetly alerts him to Mika's proximity, actions that seem to lack immediate personal gain. Asuramaru occupies the position of a dependable opposition with a distinct purpose, rather than being categorized as a confidant or comrade, an embodiment of his innate demonic essence.
When he assumes dominion over his host, Asuramaru treats it as a strategic contest, employing maneuvers such as inducing harrowing night terrors and puncturing Yu's neck. He becomes vexed when the agreed-upon boundaries are transgressed, even expressing agitation when a blade is flung prematurely during an assault on Yu. Asuramaru appears to derive a peculiar satisfaction from encounters with influential vampire nobles, viewing them as intensely personal engagements. He anticipates that Yu's actions will inevitably lead to tumultuous circumstances, a prospect he seems to derive pleasure from. Asuramaru's perspective on other entities is riddled with negativity. He characterizes humanity as a morally corrupt and avaricious species, surpassing even vampires and demons in their malevolence. While he regards weaker demons with a condescending gaze, he abstains from comment concerning other Black Demons akin to himself.
Even when confronted by formidable beings like vampire nobles, he remains emotionally detached, channeling his focus towards compelling Yu to amass further power for the purpose of possession. Asuramaru views seraphs with a cautious apprehension, acknowledging their inherent might while recognizing their potential to eclipse the malevolence of demons. He takes a staunch stance against Yu's contemplation of seraphic power, viewing it as a form of treachery.
