The Atlantic city empire is the main organization of the tv show Boardwalk Empire, it had many bosses such as the protagonist Nucky Thompson. It's a large criminal operation based in Atlantic City, New Jersey and is based on the real gang. The members are high ranked politicians and officers who want to profit from the prohibition.
History[]
Nucky Thompson sells a shipment of whisky to Arnold Rothstein a crime lord based in New York City. Later This Shipment gets stolen by Jimmy Darmody and Al Capone. Jimmy Darmody gave the location of Doyles distillery to the prohibition agents.
Darmodys hijacking provokes a conflict between AC and Rothstein. Additionally Doyle allies with the D'Alessio brothers. Jimmy works in Chicago for Johnny Torrio but gets hired by Nucky Thompson again. At the end of season 1 the D'Alessio brothers get killed.
Season 2[]
In season 2 the Commodore decides to regain the control over the operation by using his son Jimmy Darmody via a political coup against Nucky. At the end Commodore and an Alderman(the finaciers of Nucky and the organization) get killed.
