Attack Drones are enemies that are found in the Ark: Survival Evolved franchise.
Biography[]
Attack Drones are mechanical AI creatures that are summoned in by the Overseer as minions. Their job is to protect the Overseer and to see if the survivors pass the challenges and obstacles that were made to test the survivors.
The Attack Drones are untamable just like the other mechanical creatures that the Overseer summons. Even though they can't be tamed like every mechanical being in Ark the Attack Drones consume element dust as an energy source.
While original mechanical enemies that helped with guarding the Overseer the Attack Drones have also been found in the Genesis Ark worlds. Genesis part 1 and part 2 are filled with mechanical creatures and lifeforms that have never existed before. With strange mutated alien like creatures and AI machines the Genesis Ark worlds seem like the perfect location for the Attack Drones and other mechanical creatures that the Overseer summons.
In the Genesis Ark worlds the Attack Drones do not serve as minions protecting a finale boss. Instead their roles in the Genesis Ark worlds are just like all the other creatures serving wildlife that can get in the way of the survivors as they try to achieve their goals.
