The Aurum Brain is a boss in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It serves as the leader and control panel for the Aurum, a sort of parallel to Star Fox: Assault's Aparoid Queen with the Aparoids.

The Aurum Brain is known to be the leader of the Aurum who is born and came from nothing and responsible of harvesting many worlds. While having no will of its own, its hive-mind intelligence, sentience and leadership makes up for its command of Aurum as it consumes everything just to be all. While none of the gods are aware of their existence, Pyrrhon is well aware of them with interests about their leadership and potential of himself as leader once he deals with the Aurum Brain. To do so carefully, Pyrrhon prepares himself to make a temporary fight against them by the time they arrive to Earth just for his satisfaction to overthrow the Aurum Brain as a highly respected god among others.
Kid Icarus: Uprising[]
As a result of the war between Palutena's Army, the Underworld Army and the Forces of Nature fighting each other, the Aurum Brain and its forces were attracted to their warfare and begin harvesting Earth to consume it, alerting all of them to their presence. To spread the influence of their invasion, the Aurum Brain had the Aurum Generator lead a hive to continue reproducing of their numbers including letting it mimic the appearances of the Underworld forces while having the Aurum Core lead a portion of the fleet to harvest a part of the planet. With the temporary combined forces between the three factions and with help from Pit and Pyrrhon, both the Aurum Generator and the Aurum Generator were defeated, leaving it to lead and defend its main fleet within its fortress to continue its conquest.
The Aurum Brain is fought in two phases. During phase 1 of the battle, he makes no attempt to harm Pit. Instead, the brain relies on his bodyguards to protect him. Pyrrhon advises that Pit use his weapons on the brain. After a while, he becomes corrupted. Pyrrhon fuses his power with the brain, and they become one. Pit is dragged from the fortress by his goddess and leader, Lady Palutena, but Pyrrhon appears in their midst, gloating about his newfound leadership of the Aurum and used the Aurum Brain's abilities to blocked Palutena from returning Pit to safety, forcing her to deactivate the power of flight to prevent Pit from burning up and be escorted to fight many Aurum forces to return to the fortress.
Despite Aurum Pyrrhon's abilities, the Aurum Brain would fight back against him and regain control as well as taking possession of him. With Pit returning to the fortress, the Aurum Brain is heard speaking through Aurum Pyrrhon, warning him not to come any further much to Pit's confusiin. During the Second Phase, Aurum Pyrrhon becomes the enemy, now used as a vessel for the Aurum Brain. He attacks by using a barrier to protect his health. He can be damaged if you destroy the orbs powering the barrier Pyrrhon is protected by, but he will not move. Pit has his own platform since there is no floor.
While exposed, Pyrrhon can use an orange ring to crush Pit or send fiery serpents to damage him. He can also throw a fireball or a horizontal shockwave, which can be avoided if Pit uses the jump pad to make his getaway. Once Pyrrhon is defeated, the Aurum Brain is defeated too, and Pit escapes. Pyrrhon uses his powers to eject the Aurum into space.
With the Aurum Brain presumably killed, it is implied that a new Aurum intelligence arose to become the new central hive-intelligence and leads the Aurum to be all as well as waging war against Pyrrhon.
