The Aurum Core is a minor antagonist in the video game, Kid Icarus: Uprising.
It is the commander of a fleet of Aurum Islands that came to Earth to harvest the planet to participate in the Aurum Brain's campaign for the Aurum to be all.
Appearance[]
Like the other Cores, the Aurum Core has a cylinder-like shape as it is colored red equipped with shield plates that are yellow. Being attached to its machine, the top is armed with wires on each cylinder block. The bottom half of its chamber is attached to a small ring with devices that shoot out lasers.

The Aurum Core was one of the several Cores in the Aurum that was formed to be in service to the Aurum Brain. During the Aurums' campaign, the Aurum Core participate in every invasion that lured them by corruption and destruction, resulting in these worlds to be under attack. The Aurum Core then helps out by leading the Aurum Islands to break apart and consume the planets to be consumed.
Kid Icarus[]
with Earth under a state of war and corruption due to the ongoing three front war between Palutena's Army, the Underworld Army and the Forces of Nature, the Aurum Core leads the Aurum Islands to begin harvesting the planet. This attracts the attention from all armies including Pyrrhon who all made a temporary alliance to oppose the new threat with Pit arriving to the Aurum Core's island as the heart of the Aurum Islands fleet to track down and destroy the Aurum Core.
Pit finds the Aurum Core at its chamber where it decided to use its weaponry to fight against its opponent. Rather than fighting Pit psychically, it relies on its weapon systems to attempt to dispose of him. Pit fights back against the core which is now taking much damage to the point of activating its gravitational pulse to pull Pit and knock him away, generate electrical defenses and summons spheres that explode on contact. After Pit defeats the Aurum Core, the machine explodes, destroying its entire fleet preventing Earth to be completely harvested.
