Biography[]
Wax and Wayne[]
Autonomy was angry that Sazed, who became the god Harmony, contained two Shards, Preservation and Ruin. She wanted to send in her Army to destroy and conquer Scadrial. She made a deal with and organization called the Set, who sought to conquer Roshar, Autonomy, who appreciated independence and innovation, agreed to leave Scadrial alone if the Set could successfully conquer it. Autonomy managed to limit Harmony's powers so he couldn't stop her.
She bonded with Telsin and gave her superhuman insight to help her achieve her goals. Telsin masqueraded as the ancient Scadrial god known as Trell.
Telsin, under the influence of Autonomy, ordered her uncle Edwarn and the rest of the Set to kidnap female allomancers to breed them. The female allomancers and some males were put in an underground cavern and were told the surface had been destroyed, using Autonomy's knowledge to make a film depicting the false destruction of Scadrial.
Over the course of seven years, Telsin built an Investiture bomb, which used Trellium to split Harmonium. The plan was to use the bomb to destroy Ellendel and conquer the surviving nations of Scadrial, in order to appease Autonomy. Over seven years, Telsin struggled and failed to build a missile to deliver the bomb. Autonomy suspected she would fail and set up a portal for her army to invade.
Marasi managed to stop the army, and when Wax stopped Telsin's missile launch, Autonomy abandonded her. Once the Set's plans failed, Harmony managed to free himself from Autonomy's control and Autonomy's plans were delayed.
