Avalanche Anderson, disguised as the Snow Creature, is the titular main antagonist of the first episode of What's New Scooby Doo? called There's No Creature Like Snow Creature. He was a pro former snowboarder who wanted to regain his fame by injuring the other snowboarders and winning a competition.
Avalanche Anderson was voiced by Brian Unger, The Snow Creature’s vocal effects were provided by Dee Bradley Baker.
Appearance[]
Avalanche Anderson is a middle aged white man with gray hair. He mainly seems to wear a black shirt with a red and blue coat over it and blue pants. When he is the Mystery Sneak he is dressed up in a gray mask, a gray coat, gray pants and black shoes. He also wears a virtual helmet and grey and orange gloves. The Snow Creature robot that he controls appears to a giant monster that is transparent with red eyes.

Not much is known about Anderson's past except for the facts that he was a former pro snowboarder and was an actor known mainly for his most famous role in White Out.
What's New Scooby-Doo?[]
The episode starts out with Olympic medalist and Pro-Snowboarder, Chris Klug, going snowboarding before the contest held by billionaire, Bruce Wilkinson, in which the winner would win 1 million dollars. Chris' snowboarding was going fine until he was attacked by a giant snow creature. This attack led to Chris getting a broken leg and dropping out of the competition.
The gang end up going to the ski lodge where the competition is being held and meet with Chris Klug. They also end up meeting Avalanche Anderson who eavesdrops in on their conversation about the Snow Creature. He then tells Chris that he knew that he is concerned about his leg.
The Snow Creature then makes another appearance when the gang are hearing in on the reporter Nancy Chang and chase after a mysterious figure that they saw. The gang also find out that the creature is see-through. The Snow Creature then chases the gang around, which end up with Fred falling down a hill and breaking his leg. He then is scared of a figure that he assumes to be the creature but it turns out that it's the trail manager of the resort, Theodore Shushman, who gives them a ride back to their cabin.
The gang, minus Fred due to his injury, go to Theodore's cabin to search for clues and learn who he is. They find out that he was former skier until he got injured. They then hear a noise and see the Snow Creature outside of the cabin. Then they hear someone yelling and find out that it was Avalanche Anderson. Avalanche is then out of the contest with an ankle injury.
Shaggy and Scooby are then used as live bait as Fred signs up Shaggy to be a part of the contest. Shaggy then gets pushed down a hill during the contest. Things seem to be going good until the Snow Creature comes out and chases Shaggy and Scooby down the hill. Shaggy and Scooby then get away after Scooby uses an ice block to float past a lake.
Daphne then goes to investigate a cabin by herself due to Fred's injuries and Velma getting a cold. She ends up finding a weird device in the cabin. The Snow Creature then appears and busts into the cabin. Daphne then tries and stun the Snow Creature with a hair dryer but it does not effect it but the creature is stopped by snow that Daphne uses her hair dryer on.
Shaggy, Scooby and Velma are in the kitchen until they have to hide because they hear Bruce Wilkinson talk to Avalanche Anderson and Chris Klug about them staying in the contest. They still refuse due to their injuries. They then see Nancy Chang eavesdrop on them and talks to someone on her phone.
The gang then come up with a plan to trap the Snow Creature by having Shaggy and Scooby lure the creature onto a rope that sends multiple barrels to topple on the creature. The plan ends up failing after Velma accidentally sneezes and pulls the rope up too early and sends the barrels rolling to Shaggy and Scooby and causing the Snow Creature to chase them.
The Snow Creature chases Shaggy and Scooby until they end up flying off a ramp, which ends up demolishing the Snow Creature. It turns out that the Snow Creature was a robot that was made of see-through Lucite that was made to look like ice. The gang then sees the "Mystery Sneak" that seems to have a virtual reality helmet and gloves on. He begins to get away until Velma sneezes and causes an avalanche. The sneak is then found out to be Avalanche and he informs that he did it to get famous by faking a wound and miraculously winning the competition.
