Aveil is a major antagonist in the Nintendo 64 video game The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and its 3DS remake, serving as the main antagonist throughout the Great Bay Region.
She is a thief and the leader of the Gerudo Pirates who wants to steal 7 Zora eggs for a clue to get to the Great Bay Temple.
Biography[]
When Link enters a room in the Pirates' Fortress, he looks through a cage and sees Aveil. Aveil scolds one of her minions because they don't have enough Zora eggs. Aveil tells her minion that they will get rich if they get the treasure from the Great Bay Temple, with advice from the Skull Kid. After the cutscene, Link shoots a beehive with his bow, and Aveil and her minions run away, and Aveil isn't seen again in the game. Link fights many pirates in the fortress, who are under Aveil's order.
Aveil, though not onscreen, has her plan fail after Link retrieves every Zora egg. To add insult to injury, the Gerudo Pirates make one last attempt to get to the Great Bay Temple, but are sent flying away due to the dragon cloud.

- Like many other characters in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Aveil and her minions are the Termina counterparts to the Gerudo Thieves from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
