Lord Aymor of the Undernest is the main antagonist of the 2018 Roblox platform-wide event Egg Hunt 2018: The Great Yolktales, the ninth installment of the Egg Hunt series, as well as a minor character in the 2024 platform-wide event The Haunt. He is also set to appear in some capacity in Egg Hunt 2018's upcoming sequel.
Originally the pet of the scribe and librarian Charles Booker, Aymor later accidentally merges with a mysterious egg known as the Egg of Origin and gets out of control, causing him to transform into Lord Aymor.
Appearance[]
In his normal form, Aymor is an almost entirely black raven who wears a small purple top hat with a single black stripe on it. He also has entirely white, bright, blank eyes.
When he merged with the Egg of Origin and transform into Lord Aymor, he still largely resembled his normal form, but underwent some significant changes. He now wears a purple boa, his belly feathers are grey, he has a red crack on his beak, and his eyes are now bright red with an angry expression, with his left eye being scarred.
In his Aymegg form, he was a purple egg with feathers on it, a crack in the middle with a yellow eye peeking out of that crack, and black wings on the left and right.
Personality[]
When players first encountered Booker, Aymor was normally an ordinary bird who did not harm anyone, lived his life to the fullest, and did not care about his surroundings (just like any normal house pet would do). However, after the Egg of Origin fell on him and he merged with it, Aymor went completely mad and out of control. Now known as "Lord Aymor", Aymor decided to rule the Undernest and seemed willing to do anything to do so, even if it meant killing players. Not only that, Aymor became quite incomprehensible and confusing when he began to spread destruction around for no apparent reason.
Interestingly, when Aymor returns to his normal form at the end of the event, he shows no aggression and decides to leave with Booker as if nothing happened. Because of this, it is unclear what his motivation was for the things he did, however, it was most likely due to the corruption caused by his newfound powers.
Biography[]
Egg Hunt 2018: The Great Yolktales[]
He was caged as a pet in The Grand Library, a giant building that houses many eggs and books from Egg Hunt 2018 event and past Egg Hunts on Roblox, including Egg Hunt 2008, 2010, and 2012-2017. Aymor was taken care of by Charles Booker, the egg hunting head librarian.
During a massive earthquake under the library that was caused by the player touching a ancient scroll inside of the library, a special gray and ominous looking egg known as the Egg of Origin was being examined by Booker before the earthquake happened, however the Egg of Origin fell onto Aymor due to the shaking, which caused him to absorb the egg and grow to a monstrous size.
After growing to a massive height, Aymor became coorupted and decided to steal all the eggs in the now ruined library in order to drop and scatter them into 10 different fairy tale like worlds. After the earthquake came to a end, The Player discovers that Aymor turned Booker into a small pink worm with glasses, however Booker tells the player in order to save the Eggverse and return all the eggs back to The library, the player must venture into these fairy tale worlds and gather all the eggs in order to stop Aymor once and for all.
After getting 4 of the Treasured Eggs in the 4 main worlds (Wonderland Grove, Easterbury Canals, Hardboiled City, Wookong Jungle) and heading to a special place in the Undernest (the 5th main world), the player can enter a special place known as Aymor's Lair in which they then engage in a boss fight with Aymor himself and 2 other different forms of Aymor as well. After crushing a giant crystal spike on top of Aymor during the finale of the boss fight and defeating Aymor, the Player is rewarded with a special Egg known as Aymegg.
After returning back to the now restored library with the eggs back and safe, Booker is turned back into his former human self, the fairy tale worlds go back to normal, and Aymor turns back into his former smaller self. The Egg of Origin is taken from Aymor and put somewhere hidden where it will be left forever for safety reasons. Whether Aymor is actually not evil anymore after the library is restored is unknown.
The Haunt[]
Aymor reappears as a reference in the 2024 Roblox Halloween event The Haunt as one of the 10 mini showcases in the Elevator minigame. He is strangely back in his previous evil monster form. However, The Haunt and Egg Hunt 2018 are not canonically related Roblox events as of now.

Celebrity Collection Series 3[]
Although he does not have his own toy, Aymor is also featured alongside his egg form Aymegg as part of Charles Booker's official Roblox toy from Celebrity Collection Series 3 (which is not actually a single item, and the character Maddy from the same event is also included alongside Booker). In it, Aymor serves as an item and can be placed in Booker's hand.
Ready Player One[]

A statue of Aymor can be seen in the Office of Creators during the ending credits of the Ready Player One event, with the statue appearing completely black except for his eyes.
Tower Heroes[]

Aymor appears in the 2020 Roblox tower defense game Tower Heroes as the main antagonist of the Easter events, specifically serving as the main antagonist of Easter Eggland, the primary map of the events. Defeating him rewards the player with Booker as a skin for Hayes. Aymor also appears in his raven form as a summon in the skin, replacing Hayes' crows.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Exceptional Intelligence: Befitting the fact that ravens are depicted as such, Aymor appears to be quite intelligent for a bird.
- Flight: As a bird, Aymor can fly using his wings, which was his greatest advantage in his quest to rule the Undernest.
- Superhuman Strength & Durability: In direct proportion to his size, Aymor is much stronger and more durable than a normal human, as can be seen from his ability to remain intact for a long time despite being hit by several dynamites.
- Laser Eyes: Aymor could also fire laser beams from his eyes, which was his main ability to attack in his battle against the player(s).
- Worm Transmutation: Aymor had the ability to transform people into worms, as seen with what he did to Booker.
- Turning into an Egg: Aymor can turn into an egg, as seen in his battle with the player(s), although it does not seem to grant him any extra abilities.

- His name is actually referenced in the main theme of Easterbury Canals map from the same event, which is called "That's Aymor Egg".
- In addition, the song name, "That's Aymor Egg" is also a reference to a 1950's Italian song "That's Amore".
- According to InsanelyLuke, one of the developers behind Egg Hunt 2018, Aymor's name comes from the Irish slang "Éan Mór," meaning "Big Bird."
- Aymor is still confused with a crow by many people.
- Moreover, even the Egg of Origin references to this by calling Aymor a crow in its description.
- Although there was no mention of Aymor wanting to destroy the Eggverse during the event, the description of Charles Booker and Maddy's toys claim that Aymor also wanted to destroy the Eggverse. His reason for wanting so is unknown.
- Oddly enough, Aymor appeared more humanoid in concept art, with similarly personified facial expressions. Based on this, Aymor may have been planned to interact with players in some way or even have his own dialogue in the early stages of Egg Hunt 2018.
