Aziz is a recurring and powerful enemy from Disney's Aladdin serving as the main antagonist of the episodes "Seems Like Old Crimes" and "Destiny on Fire." Originally a thief from a traveling circus, Aziz would befriend Aladdin after his trained monkey, Apu, failed to steal from him. He and his cohorts, Fatima and Minos would enlist the young boy's help in stealing the powerful Stone of Destiny. Aladdin would escape and go back to Agrabah with Abu. He returned years later as a reality warping goblin.
He is voiced by Michael Bell who also voiced Quackerjack in Darkwing Duck.

Seems Like Old Crimes[]
In the two-part episode, we see a glimpse as his old life. Aziz was a Master of the Mystic Arts of a group of thieves who operated out of a travelling circus along with Fatima and Minos. During their performances, their monkey Abu would pit pocket money from the guests. During one show, Abu met and befriended the local street rat Aladdin. Aziz learned of him and invited him to join their group. Aladdin was reluctant, as he wasn't willing to steal from innocent people. Instead, the trio decided to recruit Aladdin into their plan to steal the treasure known as the Stone of Destiny. The plan failed as the Guardian of the Stone imprisoned Aziz, Minos, and Fatima, allowing Aladdin and Abu to escape.
Years later, the Guardian would seek Aladdin's help, as their imprisonment was destroyed. Aziz was turned into an imp who could conjure spells by blowing mystic fire, Minos turned into a Minotaur, while Fatima became a harpy. They began to steal whatever they could from Agrabah, eventually coming to the idea of ruling the Kingdom and killing Aladdin for his betrayal. After meeting Jasmine, Minos and Fatima would start to have second thoughts about this plan, seeing their mutual love for one another. Aziz would be infuriated, and attacked, killing Minos who took the lethal blow. The Stone of Destiny would reform, reviving Minos and restoring his and Fatima's human forms. Despite given the chance, Aziz refused to turn back to normal and fled.
Destiny on Fire[]
Aziz would return while Aladdin was on vacation and took over Agrabah by turning most of the population into slugs including Jasmine and the Sultan. The only one not affected by this was Razoul who made his escape. For laughs, Aziz put a curse on Razoul and Aladdin which would bind them together whenever they argued, only to free them when they agreed. Despite their attempts, Aziz turned Genie, Carpet, Abu, and Iago into slugs too. During this battle, Razoul and Aladdin noticed Aziz's breath powers came at the cost of shortness of breath and it caused him to burn up. Using this to their advantage, the duo taunted and dodged the imp's attacks until he literally burned himself up, ending the spell.
