Azuma is the leader of an armed terrorist group who uses the Chimera Driver to transform into Kamen Rider Daimon, the main antagonist of Kamen Rider Revice: Battle Familia and the overarching antagonist of its prequel special Birth of Chimera.
He is portrayed by Kane Kosugi, who previously played the heroic Jiraiya/NinjaBlack in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger.

Azuma was originally one of two humans chosen by Giff to be his "observers" along with Hideo Akaishi. Over the years, Azuma would try to guide humanity to going on a more peaceful path, but repeatedly found himself unable to prevent humanity from doing violence for one another, eventually leading him to go into hiding for 80 years at the start of the 20th Century.
Birth of Chimera[]
Using Akaishi's notes, Hiromi Kadota was able to track down Azuma and went to confront him, but Azuma fought him off before escaping.
Azuma later came across Ryu Mukai using the Chimera Driver to become Kamen Rider Chimera and destroy a demon. Believing the driver could give him the power he needed to set humanity on its right path, Azuma stole the Driver from him, causing Ryu to transform into a demon now that he no longer had the Driver to stabilize his body. Impressed, Chic placed an Eye of Giff inside the Driver to extend Azuma's immortality and provided him with the Tri Chimera Vistamp, which Azuma used to transform into Kamen Rider Daimon before immediately striking down the demon-mutated Mukai, causing an explosion that killed Nozomu Otani's parents.
Azuma and Chic then gathered several followers and brought them to Area 666, the former sight of NOAH's research laboratory, where they formed a new terrorist organization to carry out Azuma's plan of being "judge" to humanity.
Kamen Rider Revice: Battle Familia[]
Azuma and his terrorist group hijacked the plane the Igarashi family was going for a vacation on, kidnapping its passengers and taking them all to Area 666. The Igarashi siblings were able to escape and headed to Area 666 to save their parents and the other passengers Azuma had taken captive.
