Azwel has a justifiable motive. He expresses his occult love for all humans as equals. His insane lust for utopia asked a heavy price and drove him mad. Like all members of the Aval Organization, he detests all Malfested; his interactions with the likes of Nightmare or Cervantes - both of whom have wielded [[Soul Edge]], expressing disdain towards them.
